   geneva japanmangafestival :)
ah, so I was there...I really went...and now I'm in Neuchatel...ah, will have to stay overnight here, but well, these are friends. Only thing that annoyes me is that I wasn't prepared for this and tomorrow I have to meet a friend of mine and now I have to go up early to get home at a decent time to visit him.
Anyway, the festival was great. Didn't buy any manga (since I bought all mangas of this month already), but another friend of mine made a present to me (a huge poster of Cloud...love it!!!). And I participated on a little concors (don't know how this is called in English) and well, I'll see if I win anything...

so, as I'm not at home, I can't write so much so have to leave now and can't post anything (sumimasen!!!).
see ya all!

   geneva...
hi there...so I decided to finally go to geneva. more than my decision it was those of my parents (they promised somebody I would come) and now Iīll go there. Not that I wonīt like it, hell no, Iīm happy to go, the only thing is I will have to go kinda early (well, now the way until there will only dure 2 and half hours now, since Iīll meet my parents in Neuchatel - a city near geneva...if you can speak of cities in Switzerland - and not in Geneva) and hm...well, have to go sleeping soon, if I want to have a little bit of relaxing time...this means, once again, no time for drawing and no time for watching animes (grrr). nah, somehow I think this month will not be like I want it to be, sniff.
But well, since my parents will be there too, maybe I can save some money :p (hey, you have to see the positive things too in live...otherwise I wouldnīt study Japanese with all these kanji...I always tell myself, some time in the future you wonīt need any dictionary or subtitle to understand all the stuff you wanna watch and read...so, positive things make negative ones more bearable, hehe).

ok, have to go prepare everything for tomorrow now, wish you the best and see ya around!

pd: bought a book yesterday, the last one of the quadrilogy (how the hell do you say that? trilogy is clear...but for four books? nah, anyway, itīs the 4th book) from Sergej Lukianenko. Itīs called "Wächter der Ewigkeit" in German ("guardians of eternity") and until now itīs really cool - I love his books, specially these "guardian of ----" books. I like his humour very much...heīs sarcastic (like I myself often am) and well, itīs fantasy, ah, really cool ^______________^

   homework, homework and again...homework!!!!
argh, itīs really getting on my nerves. We have to do so much for friday, the day has too less hours to do all of them! Iīll just do the minimum īcause otherwise I wonīt get any sleep. Furthermore I had to help here at home (4 hours lost to somewhere beyond the ultimate homework stress timeline), so Iīm asking myself how much I can do until tomorrow...well, the answer is clear: nearly NOTHING. I even really finished what I needed to do at home, but I think somewhere it is more important to do this damn kanji stuff then the other things. Iīm really happy I made part of it at the beginning of the week, so at least I made part of the homework I shouldīve done until tomorrow.
Today was not really my day - I missed the bus and had to wait 45 minutes for the next to come. The good part of it was, I only was 10 minutes late at university (since whenever I have classes in the morning Iīm half an hour earlier there than the lesson begins) and the teacher didnīt say anything...so, for this I was lucky in some way...but it was horrible to get there. Changing trains and asking where comes the next and so on and so forth. I couldnīt concentrate on the train (wanted to do some homework), so I had to drop it and so Iīm here now with a huge pile of homework stuff to do.
Iīm considering going to a japan manga festival in Geneva (I was there last year, was nice), but Iīm not sure whether to go or not, because there are a lot of grammar lessons I should repeat (to somehow understand what the teacher I most dislike tried to explain to us meant) and the neverending kanji lists from the other teacher are menacing my dreams...Iīll end up dreaming of a kanji monster or a grammar oni if this goes on this way T______________T ah, Iīm really considering it. On the other side, Geneva is 3 hours or so away from where I live, so if I only carry learning stuff with me in the train, I have plenty of time to do all this studying there...hui...tomorrow I should decide...:s

so, you see Iīm kinda busy...if you donīt have any comments, Iīm sorry, Iīll post tomorrow (should have some time then...if Iīm lucky...)!!!
have a good time and see ya around!!!
(and thanks for those who wrote for my birthday, it really made me happy ^____^)

   birthday, yay!!!!
hi there! so today itīs my birthday. Iīm really curious about the gifts Iīll receive... the collegue from university gave me some vanilla creme and milk rise with vanilla flavour, īcause she knew I always eat this at university whenever I can lol The presents of my parents will come tonight (my father is buying the birthday pie right now...ah....this will be real fun :D
hm, today I decided to do nothing for university, but maybe Iīll do some homework of this week...donīt know yet. Well, yesterday I wanted to do them, but I finished watching Paranoia Agent (really strange anime, I can tell you), and then I continued watching the kiba anime series...ah, you see, I was busy watching anime...(until 4 am...!!!). I guess Iīll watch some more episodes today, kiba is really a cool series, you canīt really stop watching (well, this counts for most animes I watch, actually).

Hm, so hope you guys are doing well and hope you still drop by now and then...! ^-^

   anime...and studying...
ah, really nice! finally I could sleep a bit!
well, as the titles says, Iīm watching some anime at the moment.
I downloaded the whole GunGrave series and am watching it right now (Iīm at episode 17 or so...Iīll surely watch more tonight, hehe). Ah, I really love this series!
I got the whole Paranoia Agent series (from the one who did Millenium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers) and I already watched the first episode...seems to be a really interesting story there :) After GunGrave this will be my new target lol Well, there is also Kiba, a strange anime series, but so far it seems to be really cool (watched the first two episodes).
Nah, but there still are the kanji cards I have to do. As you probaly know, I skipped lecture yesterday (and am very happy about this...though a bit ashamed...*shakes head* but I saw met my tandem partner yesterday. We had quite much fun, it was really interesting and she helped me to do some shukudai...er...lemme see...er...homework (ah, this japanese...if you study so much lenguages you get confused sometimes, I can tell...). This is really cool, otherwise I would have spend hours for doing it, now I made already half of it :)
Ah, I was on the little Aikido seminar today. My father went in the afternoon too, me only in the morning, īcause I wanted to do some things. It was really interesting, though Iīm not really good in rolling after someone has thrown you to the floor...:S but still, it was really interesting. Iīd like to do a martial art like this...maybe Iīll begin with Karate again (though itīs quite different from Aikido), but itīs something I used to do some years ago (I need to do some sports again...).

So, I have to do some things here right now, so hope your doing fine and hope you drop by now and then ^-^ have a nice day!!

ps: just.me...sure, I couldīve turn it off, but I had some 7 windows open...you figure that it wouldīve last some time until I wouldīve found where to do it... So I just decided to close them before somebody could yell at me saying what the hell I think who I am having all these different songs running at the same time... lol

angy zakuro: shuumatsu wa ii yo! sugoi!!! :)

   weekend :) yay!!!!
ah, finally this week is over...ah, how did I long for this moment to come! really, this week was horrible.
I'm at university right now because I'll have tandem learning in one hour or so. This weekend I want to get some sleep couldn't have during the week. I guess the most slept was 4 hours T___T
I have a little Aikido Seminar on Staurday so then I'll have to get up early. So again...but well, I'll try to go to be a bit earlier then the whole week this time :P
On Sunday a collegue of mine will make a translation session plus a BBQ (or something similar to it), and I'm really looking forward to it! Some other people of my class will go too ^-^

I didn't comment on anybodys site yesterday, sorry! I was in such a hurry I couldn't leave any comments...sumimaseeeeen! I'll comment tonight!
(I would comment right now, but I just noticed that all the music you have as theme on your site can be heared...and well, I'm at university...ah...can't have all the people hear that...(I was really surprised 'cause normally you can't hear any music with the PCs of the university, but it seems in this room it's possible...and I didn't notice at he beginning 'cause I myself am hearing to music right now of my Discman...hmm...hope nobody really noticd :s at least nobody told me to stop the music so I guess I noticed quickly lol)).

Theoratically I'd have a lecture at 4:15 pm, but I decided - as some other people of my class did - not to go, because it would last until 6 o'clock and I would miss my train. Also, I think it's better for me to meet the tandem collegue of mine, which whom I always meet on friday, it's lot more of use then this lecture. Well, maybe it wouldn't be so bad (it has to do with something of the ethnic problems or so in Japan), and honestly, I would have participated if it would've been earlier. But so late? It's friday and we never have lectures then. Also, I have a lot to travel to go home...so. I kinda am sorry with the lecturer, 'cause he really has nothing to do with this. It's the professor who invited him who did the mistake. Anyway, I don't like her very much (as most of the people in my class) and as I'm allowed not to come to class without saying it two times per semester, I guess it's not really grave.

so, hope you guys are doing well...I'll comment on your site at home (where nobody can be disturbed by music...hehe).
have a good time and see ya!

   kanji demon is here...
ah, kanji. yeah, a real kanji oni is here in my room, I can tell! Iīve begun with the cards, but it seems to have no end at all!!! I made half of it tonight...and tomorrow will be kanji lesson...nooooo...T____T hope the teacher wonīt ask to difficult kanjis in her mini tests...argh.

and then we had to do some autive comprehension (or however this may be called). Jeez, the people there talk so fast and sometimes you look at the sheet in front of you and youīve got NO idea what the hell you should do. I just did SOMETHING, īcause well, I canīt give a blank sheet to my teacher. Iīll ask tomorrow morning some other people, maybe they understood some parts I didnīt---

ah, tomorrow at least I will have a good time with tandem learning in the afternoon. I should be on a lecture then, but the lecture is so late, I wouldīve problems returning home (Since I live 2 hours away from university) and then it is not in our lecture time. My collegue isnīt giong, too, so I guess it isnīt thaaat abd if I just donīt go. hmm. tandem learning is more important ;)

so, have a good time and see ya!

   lecture time over
so, finally the lectures are finished, God knows it was hard to get on all of them... Iīm really curious about who will be chosen for the vacant chair...I hope so much the italian guy, but I donīt think he will be the one, I think theyīll chose the one who did everything ad iterim until now. Hm, weīll see. The students chose the latter one as first candidate, the italian guy as second and a women from Germany as third candidate. It will last quite a while until we know more, they told us this comission will not be the only one choosing, there will be other people who have to prove this so maybe at the end of the semester weīll know who itīll be.

Until then I have to somehow get the time to do all the kanji I have to. At least yesterday I bought the cards and now Iīm making the learning cards. Really boring and awful work. T_T
Tomorrow will be translating lesson. I canīt say Iīm really looking forward to it...but at least it will only be the morning so on afternoon I can go home!!! ah, maybe Iīll get some sleep then (my father was kinda worried about it...ah, cute...^-^). Maybe Iīll even get some time to draw...

Well, itīs really a pity I canīt do a birthday party, but surely my family will be there so I will have a little party lol Maybe I can do something during May. I so much want to invite some people of my class to where I live...itīs a bit far away from university (nearly 2 hours) and as it is a really tiiiiiiiiiiny village, you have to see that you donīt miss the last bus (8 pm during the week and 10 or 11 pm on firdays and saturdays...). You see, itīs not really...well, the connection is crap to say it frankly.

Again there was in the newspapers that itīs far too hot for this season here and in Europe generally... Germany and Switzerland got temperatures up to 30° Celsius!!! this is really scary. Also they said that the rain which seems to come next week wonīt last long and so wouldnīt be enough for all the agricultural environment...the farmers are afraid of losing theyīre harvest. And then again there were news about hurricanes in Texas (I beleive, Iīm not sure...somewhere in the US). The sun from here should get there and the rain from there to here...ah, poor world.

so, hope you guys are doing well and see ya around!

   presentation for the vacant chair...
so, today was the second day with people presenting for the vacant chair. Yesterday and today was really tough, but yesterday we at least had a long midday pause īcause one of the candidates cancelled the presentation. Hm, in general, the most of the presentations just were BORING. But some were interesting, e.g. the one of the candidate who presented "mummy as medicine in Japan of the Edo period"...was kinda scary, but really interesting. Also interesting was the presentation about connections of Indian Religion to Japan (mostly because of Buddhism), and how the people themself saw that in the middle age in Japan (Well, itīs kinda difficult to really sum up this presentation...I totally forgot what the question was the candidate made).
My faves are the one with the mummy and the Buddhism candidate. Although the first one had such a monotone voice that I slept the second part of his presentation...you have to imagine, you only slept for 2 hours, then you had to get up at 5:30 and two hours until you get to university, then a boring presentation, one hour pause, then a trial lesson...then a long midday pause (some three hours) until you finally got to hear this presentation. God, who wouldnīt be tired??? and then...such a monotone voice...nah, couldnīt be helped. Anyway, I was in the back row, so I presume people didnīt notice - and I probably wasnīt the only one...
the presentation I really liked was the Buddhism one of today. The candidate is Italian, so he made the presenation in English. He was really charismatic, I really just enjoyed the way he teached (and I love his accent, really :D). The trial lesson he did was cool too (I didnīt like the trial lesson of the mummy-guy so much). But the problem is, that the Buddhism guy has to improve his German, probably people wonīt vote for him because of that. The problem is, the university has someone doing this job which is vacant at the moment ad iterim. And we students would have theoretically one voice. But as the ones who are leading the students are probably voting for the one already there, the Italian one will prabably have NO chance :(
hmmmm...anyway. I didnīt expect much from this voting thing to begin with. The vote of the students will be one of 8...ah. Well, if theyīll chose the guy who was doing this ad iterim for some time now, I think it wouldnīt be that bad. I donīt really love the way he makes his presentations, but heīs not so bad either and he has good connections and thatīs important, since we studentīs want to go to Japan and so on and so forth...well. Weīll see how itīll end... (Iīll surely tell, when we know the result lol).

for the birthday party, I just figured I canīt do it. Iīm busy on Saturday and donīt have enough time to really prepare it, so I probably only will celebrating with my familiy. Then, maybe Iīll go to the cinema...Iīd really like to see Spiderman 3, as it starts at my Birthday here in Switzerland, (not that I have seen 300 yet...ah...Iīve got so less time...itīs really sad T_____T
But Iīll do a party or something in May anyway, wanna invite some people to where I live (you could describe it as countryside...a really reaaaaally tiny village...).

Hm, the weather is really strange, we have sun all the time...Iīve never experienced such a warm april...23° C...and this in april...wow... this may be not so much for you but for the place I live itīs really high...some 5 or even more degrees more than normal...I remember last year we even had SNOW at the beginning of april.
It is the first time I hear, that the Kanton (you could say "state") I live in (itīs called Schwyz...if you wanna know more, just type it in wikipedia ^-^) had to prohibit any fires in the kanton so that the forest donīt burn, and itīs not the only Kanton...ah. Really bad.

Well...hope your guys are doing well (and that I somehow will survive this week) and see ya around!

   yay, presentation finished!
ah, Iīm so glad this presentation finally is over. I had to do lot of things, together with my aunty. Well, it was kinda difficult, because the second time she wanted to see the presentation and so we had a person less...argh. But it really was hard, when she wasnīt there to help us. But finally everything worked well and my mum even gave us two some money :) yay, some mangas...:):):) (went to buy Samurai Deeper Kyo vol. 32 and Kamunagara vol. 6 today... aaaah... Iīm so happy now ^-^)

so, now there are the people having theyīre lactures and theyīre trial lessons with us. The first of today was not really good. But the second one was a really good and skilled teacher. Hm, Iīm a bit curious about the following teachers, but well...itīs a bit hard īcause itīs all day long. (but at least these lessons are excelent for drawing and kanji learning...lol).

ah, 1st May will be soon...Iīm thinking of doing a birthday party, but Iīm not sure how much people I should invite...I donīt want to invite more then 8 people...ah. 3 people of my class already told me they can come (Since 1st May is bank holiday in Zürích...people go demonstrating (not really something one should understand), but anyway. The cool thing about is, where I live everything is opened. So if I need anything, there will be everything opened ^-^

ah, so hope you guys are doing fine and Iīm really sorry, I didnīt comment on your posts, I was so busy with the presentation!! Iīll post again now that Iīll have some more time!!
