Oh my goodness.
Okay. How long has it been? It's okay. You're not the only ones I'm neglectiing. I've been MIA for more than a few weeks now. I've been working my ass off at work, then coming home to move three rooms of my house around. (I'm getting a new room today! Wodie!)
I got a new camera, as well. Whoo hoo! It doesn't beep like my old one and is FAR MORE SUPERIOR in comparrison.
Did I spell that right?
Anyway, I'm sorry I'm not fulfilling my promises. I've been so busy, I haven't had time to write something interesting for you.
I'll do better in a week. Please keep on loving me.

Birthday girl. Whoo!
Everyone at work was amazingly cool about it being my birthday Tuesday. I got on the Talkie and told everyone "it was indeed" my birthday and that there were cookies in the breakroom. Then I went to the fitting room to do running (and to see that amazing guy I like to call Frank), and Jenn said, "YAY! BIRTHDAY GIRL! WHOOOO!" Really, really loud, by the way. And Frank said, "Yeah. We have to yell and shout because it's Susan's birthday today and that's special." to the customers.
But the manager for the night was on my ass, seemingly, because he's not used to running things and is a little high strung to start with.
I like Steven better. He's hot, like Benno Furmann hot, and he asks me how I am every five seconds and pats me on the back.
I guess my lists of crushes will have to go this way: 1) Johnny Depp, 2)Anderson Cooper, 3)Frank.
17 and I feel so incredibly amazing.

Argh.
I had this amazing entry written, but it's at home. Sadness! Well, I guess I'll have to work from scratch.
I have my job at Old Navy. Killer store. Killer benifits! I start work on Wednesday.
Um, Lisa is home until tomorrow afternoon. Which is great. I'm acutally waiting for her to get back in 15 minutes from the store. Sucks. We're both tired of the opressive heat and maybe each other, but in that "I just want to be alone" way. Her air conditioner is on the fritz.
She bought me this amazing Johnny Depp "Jack Sparrow" figurine for my birthday, and ingeniously hid it in the purse she gave me.
My birthday is July 11th. Hint: I like e-cards. destinytowsthecar@hotmail.com. I'll return the favor!
Well, no time, lieblings. I'll write you soon, I hope!

Big news
I admit now. I have a crush on Anderson Cooper. I can't help it. I have a thing for guys with perfect blue eyes and who are just good guys all around.
I just thought I would tell you.
Love, Susan

Finally
Hello.
First of all, sorry for the delay, and second… I AM GETTING A JOB @ OLD NAVY SOON (hopefully)! I know ya’ll were really rooting, not, for Kroger’s (fascists), but, HA! I’m working at a cooler place!
Other news: Melanie left June 3rd (which was also my dad’s birthday). She called me in the middle of the night from the LA airport, which was so amazingly sweet. And, yeah, I really, really miss her now (and I only cried a little bit after I hung up, well, maybe a little more than a little bit).
I started listening to Snow Patrol’s “Final Straw” again. It’s been at least a year. I really want their new album. I watched the video online, and *drools*. The music was so hot. And the video was so cool. And the guys…okay, they’re pretty cute, but, THAT’S NOT MY POINT! The music! Think about the music! And here I am still looking at a picture of Conor Oberst and thinking “Damn, he’s so hot it shouldn’t be legal.” But, YES, I have a deep love for his music, even when it’s whiny.
Oh, and I forgot to tell ya’ll. I went to the Tennessee Renaissance Festival… um… on Memorial Day, with my parents and Melanie. It was pretty neat. We got to see a joust. Our guy, Tristian whatever of whatever, got third place. And then they took of their helmets and they were all 40 to 50 something. Melanie said, “Aw. They’re all old.” I said, “Yeah, I was expecting them to be hot.” It was probably the best moment we’ve shared in our friendship yet, apart from the time she said, “For real?” (Because I say it all the time.) And then we saw some other people, some comedy acts, and then hung out in the “pub” watching the queen dance with a guy who, every now and then, would look like Johnny Depp (but not as much as this other guy). It was funny. Melanie and I were walking around towards the end and I said, “I keep thinking, ‘Don’t touch me. Don’t talk to me.’ (Referring here to the really creepy hardcore renaissance fans and merchants) And then this guy walked by who looked JUST like Johnny Depp. I smiled and said, “Except for him.” And Melanie laughed.
And, speaking of Johnny Depp, I’m currently wearing him on my shirt. So, yes, amazing. It’s a “Pirates of the Caribbean” shirt, and, yes, he’s hot.
I’ve realized that when I’m spending the whole day with my grandparents, my southern accent comes out pretty strong (because my granddaddy’s accent is definitely southern, for those of you who can recognize a real southern accent), but, most of the time, it’s not so bad. I mean I don’t sound like an obviously from the South gal.
Hopefully I’ll get back on here before another week has passed.

HELLO ALL!
HELLO DORKS AND DARLINGS! I'm back!!!!!!!! I just wanted to let ya'll know.
And I'm applying like a mad woman for jobs. I can't seem to get enough applications filled out. I stooped to my lowest and applied online for Krogers. They had this weird survey that was 33 pages long. I always knew they were facists.
Please keep visiting me. I'm not gone. I miss your comments.
I'm seriously considering buying James Blunt's new CD. I don't really like mainstream music that much because, I like it when I mention a kickass band and everyone is like, "Who?" Most people have never heard of indie rock. And it gives me enormous pleasure to introduce them to the world of indie rock.
Por ejemplo:
"I'm married to the lead singer of Bright Eyes, Conor Oberst."
"Who?"
"Conor Oberst"
"Who's that?"
"The lead singer of Bright Eyes."
"What's that?"
"This Indie rock band from Omaha."
"What's indie rock?"
And so on.
Well, keep me in your thoughts. Don't disappear.
-Susan

Oops.
I've confused you, dearies. I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to sound that way.
I'm not going to be graduating until NEXT year. I'm going to be a senior NEXT year and then the year after that, I'll be in college. So, you have some time to wait, I'm afraid.

My last full day
It's kind of strange. I've left my third block to hang out in my dad's room, alone, and now I'm typing this.
This is my last full day as a Junior.
I kinda feel weird about it. I mean, in a year, I'll be on my own in college, doing God only knows what. I'll be free. And being that close to something I've dreamt about for years... it makes me feel like I've completed a final stage and then I have to start over again.
Does that make sense?
This is also one of my last consecutive entries. This summer, I'll be working (hopefully), doing housework, staying at my grandparent's house (undetermined), and on vacation. I might not get to the library as much as I want to, so most of you might be left hanging. I'll try my best to get at least two entries in a week.
Just know that I love you all and that I wish I had the internet at home so much, so I could comment on all your entries and be a great friend like you all are to me. I really appreciate the sympathy and the support.
Really. I do.
So, until we meet again, dear fans,
This is goodbye.
Love, Susan
