Another American Thing
Today is Groudhog Day in America. It's when they pick up this groundhog named Phil and wave him around to the crowd, and then "talk" to him to see if he saw his shadow.
I think this may count as animal cruelty. I don't know. But, hey, it's an "American tradition".
Oh, and I've finally got everything that Bush talked about at the State of the Union Address. The thing about the new types of energy, I completely agree with that. We can't depend on oil, expecially if we're buying it from other countries. (cough*IRAQ*cough)
Who agrees?
Jordan came to school for Bling Bling Day with a wall clock around his neck. He sat it down on our table and said, "Don't let this get scratched." I laughed and said, "Why? Does it have to go back up on the wall this afternoon?" He said, without shame, "Yep."
Pep rally today. Pray for me. lol

Actually, this was an email to my friend Caleb
I have a writing assessment today. I'm so used to writing persuassive essays that I realize by paragraph three that it's the same stuff over and over on a different topic.
I drew a page of sketches for seven characters in this story I'm writing with Megan. It's about these kids in a British Catholic boarding school. (It's funny) Andrea, Megan's main character, is supposed to be this natural beauty, but when I showed her the sketches, she pointed at Alice (one of my secondary characters) and said, "She's prettier!" I noted her description that says she's like a little porcelin doll, so she has to be beautiful. (She's this tiny girl with pale skin and long black hair.)
I thought it was funny.
Yesterday, I drew all through history. Mykel really likes my drawings. I told him if he got me a pic of him, I would do a portrait. I think he forgot. I'm going to remind him today. Also, yesterday was Spirit Week's Senior Citizen day. Mykel was the besy dressed old man there. (He normally wears the best outfits ever anyway). Then, Justin and Jordan spent all 3rd block talking with me about their history.
I think I know why Jordan and Justin switched seats so Jordan sits next to me now.
My dreams are getting weirder. I think it's a sign.
Well, later. - Susan

Sick, sick, sick
*cough*
Yesterday, in my AP US History class, my teacher was talking about immigrants during the 1900s. It was funny in a way because, right when I was in the midst of a coughin fit, she started talking about immigrants who had communicable disease "and those who were coughing and sniffling" (I was doing both) "were sent to this area to get better for four days."
Yes. I was singled out.
But, yes, as well, we got to talk about welfare and Paris Hilton and I am a brilliant (not trying to be big headed) debator. I should be on the debate team. You get me on a subject I feel strongly about, whether bad or good, and I can go to town, so to speak.
This computer is mad at me, I think. Can computers get mad? Someday, we'll have computers that do everything for us, even to the point of telling us whether or not we're hungry or need to take a piss. Wouldn't that be just peechy?
I visited Tobira's site and read the posty about Brownback. Everyone should.
America, what are you thinking? You make me wonder sometimes.
Do it to it, kids. You're our only hope.

Sicker than... well... I'm sick.
Argh.
My throat started hurting around 12:35 (estimate) Thrusday. I think I was in lunch. I'm used to having to shout over the extremely noisy cafeteria to my friends, and raising my voice to empasize something comedic. So, I wasn't expecting the sore throat to turn into whatever this it I have.
Now I sound funny. I always sound funny when I've got gunk in my throat. One time it was so bad, my sis said I sounded like Bobby off the Brady Bunch when he hit puberty.
Come to think of it, I really did.
But, anyway, today there was a red horizon, which most likely means something bad is going to happen today. If it involves Justin, I'm going to cry tonight. (Nah, probably just be really sad.)
Well, until next time, study loud.

Okay... here we go.
I didn't think I was going to be able to get out of bed this morning. I got to the closet and saw my hand reaching out for my shirt and I was like, "What am I doing here?" I felt so bad. But, remarkably, I got out of the house 5 mins. early! My dad was super appreciative of that. And so was I! That's 5 more minutes I get to write you guys a decent post!
But, it turns out I haven't much to say. So, I guess you'll have to wait until Monday.
Indecent posts brought to you by the Indie Rock Child.

NO TIME!
Okay, kids. This is faster than a speeding bullet!
I have a project to present today. I've always hated projects. I have an essay due tomorrow for the same class. I've always hated essays.
Martha and I are (probably) going to get our nails done Saturday. It'll be my first time. And it's been a year or so since I've done something completly girly.
Martha is one of my very best friends. If you knew her, you'd probably be her friend, too.
Well, there's the bell. gtg.

Ladies and Gents....
I've got to find some art tonight to send to Caleb. I really have no idea what I'm going to send. Plus, my sketches are in ten different places. I can never find the right ones when I need them.
If I had homework last night, I didn't do it. I haven't done homework since Sunday night. I'm finding it hard to get motivated to do it. But, still, I'm passing all my classes. Marvelous.
I'm wearing girly clothes today. I feel good about that. And prettier.
I had a great dream last night, but if I tell you about it, it won't come true. I'll tell you all later. Be patient.

Hey all you crazy people.
Nasvhille was about to float away yesterday. It rained all day, nonstop, even into the night. I woke up and went to sleep to the sound of thunder. If I wasn't so tired, I would have loved that.
I helped my dad fix up our storage room with some new shelves. I found so much cool stuff.
Well, the bell is ringing. Got to go to class. Doesnt't that suck?
Love, Susan
