The first real post in ages...
Did you watch the video yesterday? If you didn't, it's one page back in the archives. I now have the trailer for the entire movie on my iPod. I still haven't found the indvidiual movies. I may have to keep on the search for awhile, or make a copy of Lisa's DVD.

I'm back into being a huge fan of James Bond. In truth, the only REAL James Bond is Sean Connery. Yesterday, sitting at the foot of my bed with the laptop, working on my story and watching "From Russia with Love" is my kind of afternoon. Well spent.

I'm on jury duty again, so I'm dressed up. And actually kind of comfortable. I don't mind it as much as I did last time. I feel like one of those girls who dresses semi-formal every now and then. Maybe I am. I don't mind dressing up on ocassion.

I got to spend three blocks with Jason yesterday because of us taking our senior group pictures (45o+ seniors! The largest graduating class in the history of my school!). That was awesome. He cut his hair. It's all short and spikey now. But I think it makes him look hotter.

God, I'm so tired. My eyes are going to fall out.

Caleb said something about my plans at the end of April. I sense coffee in my near future.

Nothing but Sean Lennon today.
His voice speaks wonders.

Hee hee
Sleepy sleepy sleepy.

I'm wearing my "riding" jacket. It's shaped like it, but it's made of dark denim. I don't care. I love it. And the paratrooper pin I put on the left just adds to that. I was going to get the bombadier one, but then I decided to get this one.

I feel like being boring today. I'll write more tomorrow.

Sleeping Easy in the Big Cheesy
I woke up late today to my mom hollering up the stairs about I don't know what, I was still half-asleep, but I said bye because I knew she was leaving (she leaves 30 mins. before we do).

New pen pals. I'm happy about that. Two guys from England and a guy in Germany. The fact that all three of them are guys bothers me a bit. It's like I can't make friends with any foreigners who are girls. (NOT TRUE! My two pen pals right now are both girls, Mona and Delphine, and I've been writing them letters for a year now.)

School isn't terrible. It's just... school. I would never want to come back. I'd only go back if they'd let me commit arson and go away scott free.

My last official day is May 11th, but I'll be on my way to Knoxville that day for Lisa's graduation. We graduate on the 17th, and then I'm saying a big "Fuck you!" to this school.

They've changed the fire alarms. It now sounds like we're in a prison now.

Grrr.

I'm so sick of school. I now refuse to give a shit about anything school related. I don't even want to go to prom anymore. Seriously. This place is driving me up the wall. May 17th can't come quickly enough.

Won't make much sense to the masses
Dieser Feiertag tötet mich. Es ist groß, aber ich verpasse jeden!

Wenigstens ist das Wetter perfekt. Ich kann in dieser Art des Klimas entspannen.

(Translation: This holiday is killing me. It's nice, but I miss everyone so much! Well, at least the weather is perfect. I can relax in this kind of climate.)

Oh, and I miss you all as well. You were included in that. Most of all, I miss Jason. I finally got to talk to him last night. He's so lovesick it's hurting me, even.

I really miss Abby too. I found her number in my pocket and felt like a dude for a minute. I was like, "Dude! Her number! I should call her!"

Steve is still on my case. Oddly enough, I don't mind.

Ergh...
Spring Break is this week, meaning I'll be missing for a week unless I can get to the library.

I'll miss you all.

Today is my day of rest.

Get enlightened.

   Yesterday
We rolled down the hill in the courtyard. It was so awesome. I ran right into Abby and skinned up my shoulder a bit (I was wearing a wife-beater), and we were all laughing so hard! (It was me, Abby, her boyfriend Josh, and Courtney.)

I think I'm going to to gesture drawings for the rest of the month. I'm obsessed. They're so fast and easy for me and they looks great!

Lisa left yesterday. I can't wait for college. I seriously wish that I could go tommorrow.

Just get so tired of being here sometimes.

   What?
"Is that movie with the theater the one where they hang the elephant?"

NO! God no! I was talking about "Inland Empire", which, if you didn't get it from my "That movie is so fucked up and weird" vibe, has nothing to do with that elephant they hung in 1800 whatever. (That's just idiotic.) That movie's called "Hanging Mary" or something, and it's more of a doc than a movie. Thay played the trailer for it before the movie started.

No, no. "Inland Empire" is about, well, this girl and all this crazy shit that doesn't really make a lot of sense the first time around. I bet if I watched it again it would make more sense.

Anyway, I'm so tired all I feel like doing is dying, at least then I would have an excuse for sleeping. But I'm too damn important to too many people to just go about dying because I'm tired.

Exhaustion can kill you though. I've read it in books.

Eddie Izzard is on "The Riches" and I don't get to see him because I don't have cable. It's so weird seeing him without crazy make-up and women's clothes. He's actually quite cute, and since he's straight, this would work out.

My nails are painted red on black which makes the coolest colour ever. I do that a lot. I paint a layer of black (I'd never wear it alone) and then paint a thinish layer of some other color and it makes this really neat "you can't get it in a bottle" wavy colour.

I'm slowly becoming a foreigner.

David Lynch is out his GD mind
"Inland Empire" by David Lynch is the scariest movie I've ever seen in my young life, darlings. It's a movie I doubt the oldest standing theater in Tennessee would have shown fifty years ago, yet, yesterday, it was there. Oh, Belcourt.

It's a movie that makes you think every second for the 3 hrs. and 10 mins. it's playing. It's like having a horrible dream that makes sense, but you can't figure out why, exactly.

Today we're going again to see "1 or 2 Things I know About Her". It's this French movie from Jean-Luc Goddard. That should be excellent.

Lisa is leaving tomorrow, so we have to pack all the things we have to do into that time space. Me having to go to school doesn't help that.

P.S. Gesture drawing from live models is the greatest thing. I'm going to buy a sketch book just for it, I think.

P.P.S. I'm so sick of school right now, May 17th can't come quickly enough.
