German kicks and my favorite Taiwanese chick
You won’t believe what happened.
I’ve met the German of my dreams today. It’s weird. It’s a schoolgirl crush, really. Ana, the super cool exchange student that Courtney is hosting, came in to 2nd block a little late because she had to change her classes back so she could hang out with us. So, she brought this guy with her. I was like, “Wow. He’s really hot.” In my mind, of course. I old them to pull up a chair and then, when they had sat down, I said, “Hey, I’m Susan.” The guy extended his hand. “Hello. I am Neils.” Soft hands, firm grip, gorgeous smile. Then we were all talking about German words and I was telling them what I knew. Then, I was looking up some words in Ana’s dictionary and, well, let’s just say I found an off color word. So, I showed it to Courtney and she laughed and said, “Susan wants to ask you something in German.” I blushed a little and said, “No. No. It’s okay. I don’t want to say it.” He leaned forward with a to-die-for smile and said with his to-die-for accent, “Please. Go ahead. I want to hear you say it.” So I said, “Um… Fine.” It took me forever to say it, but he seemed anxious to hear it. “Du haben eine Errichtung?” And he, Ana, Courtney, and Jessica laughed. He blushed a little and said, “No! No. Not now.”
So, yes, I’ve only had this feeling for two guys that I can think of, and now I’m having it for a boy who will be leaving in a week. But, damn, he’s amazing.
Melanie is going to hang out at my house next weekend. I wish it were this weekend, but my mom said we have something planned that she can’t remember and that she was going to tell me to invite her over next weekend. She’s really awesome. I love her to death. I’m going to cry when she leaves. I know I’m going to miss her a lot, but, hey, she’s a friend for life now and I’m so glad we’ve met.
Taiwan forever.
