This was supposed to be up yesterday. Sorry!
Hey hipsters,
So, today I had quite some troubles with the locals in the library (a.k.a. the library staff, and one in particular). I don’t have a third block (well, I do now, but I didn’t at the time), so I was in the library. My name was called on a list of people to go to the gym and see someone because I was in his class. I got mad, because I was just starting to talk with Matt, the guy in the library, the guy I was talking about yesterday. So, I talk to the lady and she’s like a robot, telling me the same thing, not answering my questions, and acting like I’m a complete idiot. I say, “Okay. Fine. I’ll go.” So, I got my stuff, and was walking out and she said to go to the gym and talk to so-and-so, and I said, “Okay.” She said, “Have a nice day” in this “I don’t really mean it voice”, and I said, “Yeah. I’ll try to” in this “I don’t really mean it either” voice.
I met Courtney’s new exchange student. Her name is Nisrin and she’s from India. And she’s incredibly cool. We are very much alike, which makes me comfortable to be around her. So, let me go back to the gym thing. I went to the gym and they told me to go to room 221. I went to 221 and it was locked with the lights out. After that, I was fed up so I just went down the hall to the guidance office. I talked to someone (I don’t know any of them) and she told me to wait. Nisrin was in there, for the same reason I was. So we talked about all kinds of stuff, about how we are both single and don’t really want or need a boyfriend right now (sigh), how we’re going to the prom just to be going, and will probably go together as friends, about our siblings, about our day, anything. Then we sat down on the floor and played the box game. I won by three points, but it was just fun to be playing. When we finally got to our turn, the counselor said we were supposed to be in that class. So, we’re going to be in there tomorrow. Oh well. WHATEVER.
I’m just glad I have another class with Nisrin (and I’m sure she’s glad to have one with me.) We just don’t want to be alone. I like having a friend or two around in every class.
And that was my day in a long nutshell. I’ll never see Matt again, maybe. The last thing I said to him was, “I’m in that fucking leadership class” before I stormed off. I hope I see him again. I really do. (btw, Matt is the indie boy).
Mineral water is my new favorite drink. Try Focus. You’ll love it too.
From the “great and powerful wizard” of everything cool (you were expecting OZ?)
