• NANA (and pretty much anything by Ai Yazawa, but Paradise Kiss is a bit overrated and at times annoying), Fushigi Yugi, Hot Gimmick, Kare Kano, Mars, all that shojo jazz. And I do realize that all of these are manga. I prefer it to anime.

   WHOA!
Okay. You know how you said that frogs are a symbol that you're going to go out with a Chinese guy? (And that was probably a joke, but worth it all the same) Well, as of last night, I am!

Randal called me last night, but I didn't get to call him back until an hour later because my dad didn't tell me he called until then. I don't have Randal's number, so I couldn't call him. I had to call Courtney, who just so happened to be at his house (her boyfriend, James, lives with Randal and Chris). So I got to talk to him.

"I didn't have your number, so I had to call Courtney."
"You don't have caller ID?"
"No."
"Really?"
"I'm talking to you on a rotary dial phone. Really."
*Laughs* "Oh my god. Wow."

We talked for about thirty minutes before he said, "I was wondering if mayb sometime I could take you out on a date." I laughed. "Yeah. Sure." I mean, wasn't that the reason we were calling each other? He's such a nice guy, and he's really funny.

I love Randal.
