So tired, I could fall over.
What you drinking, what you drinking baby?
(Yeah, baby, what you drinking now?)
Why are you sleeping in the backseat of your car?
Yeah, you got a big mouth and I bet you think you’re clever
But ain’t no one gonna cry when you die a dead rebel
Nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody, baby.

-The Pink Spiders

Anyway, welcome back from my long absence, correct? Sorry I’ve been so long. Monday, I drove to TTU to check out the campus and the place I’ll be living in this fall. It’s so nice. I’m über-happy that we went ahead and put in our deposit and filled out all the necessary paperwork a week ago.

Randall. God. That boy (Kerecktion: man) is amazing. He doesn’t want me to call him perfect, but, right now, I can’t think of another word. He’s just want I’m looking for right now: i.e. a sweet, compassionate guy. And he’s got a major crush on me like a grade school kid.

James: Hello?
Me: Hey.
James: Oh, hello.
Me: Is Randall around?
James: *yelling away from phone* Randall, it’s your girlfriend.
Randall: *seemingly snatches phone* Hey, girlie. What’s up?
Me: Yeah, I was like, ‘This isn’t Randall.’
Randall: No, that was James.
Me: I know. I know who James is. Gosh.
Randall: Sorry! So, anyway… how was your day?

He’s super cute. Hopefully we’ll get to go out this weekend. I’ve got it all planned out how I’m going to spill the beans to my mom, and I guess dad (if he’s around), but I’m actually hoping mom will tell him.

We had a conversation about how I’m probably going to kill myself on the cheap strip of lollopops I got from Dollar Genearl. I thought they were going to be good because the Valentine’s Day ones are great, but these are grape, completely solid, and nasty. Like cough syrup nasty. But I kept eating the one I had while I was on the phone. I said I must be stupid, but Randall said I couldn’t say that.

What? Sometimes I am stupid. I do a lot of dumb stuff.

I’ve never had these feelings before. I’ve never called a guy everyday (if he doesn’t call me first) and talked for an hour. I’ve never had a guy my mom was actually wondering about. It’s insane. I think she’ll like him. Everyone does. Randall is a great guy. He’s worried about my dad, though. He keeps saying, “ I wonder if your dad will even like me.” I told him he should worry more about my mom. (But, then again, I’ve never had a boyfriend quite like Randall.)

HOLY (Insert catch phrase here)! This is NOT going to be all about him! I’m sorry!

I didn’t get to stay with “my kids” yesterday. I had to go to a 2nd grade class. Boo. But at least those kids can read, however slowly. I did see my kindergarteners in the hall, though, and that was nice. I got hugs and waves and pretty smiles. I love those kids.

Today, we went to LP Field (or the colliseum, obviously). I got to go in the Titan's locker room. It was nice. I'll try to post pictures. It was fun.

-Susan, I’m bringing sexy back.
