The gravel glistened under the dim light of the cloudy sky. Water splashed the wall of the narrow alley, as a young girl ran through frantically. She was running. Running ever so quickly. Running from the man that she hated ever so much. It's funny how time passes so fast right under our noses. It's as if, the second just now, wasn't anything, and never existed at all. Just like the running girl. One person could make the biggest move, and become known worldwide. But, when the day comes that you take your leave.... from time..... from anything. The very flesh and bones that existed.... vanish, and you're forgotten. Knowing of no hope to see your living body again, people give up hope, and don't remember, in fear of..... forgetting that you ever were there. And she feared this. She was running for her life. The very life that we base our dreams, and knowledge on. The only hope... The only hope.... of anything.... of everything.
She met a dead end at the alley, and she just stopped. She turned to meet his cold stare. The tears running from her eyes, she spoke.
"You already killed the rest of my family! Do you have to kill me?" She breathed, through sobs.
"You don't understand... You have no knowing of my reasons." He spoke just above a whisper, but it was muffled by the bandana he wore over his face
"What reason could you possibly have for taking so many lives?!" She spoke more boldy now.
He just answered by raising his gun, and putting it to her forehead. His cold stare held sadness, but the greed and lust had had its toll on his sympathy.
She closed her eyes, waiting for everything to end. One lonely tear rolled down her cheek, and fell to the ground, and mixed with the rainwater. The small ripple held all of the life she could muster out. Comfort, sadness, anger, everything put into that one small tear.
The man dropped the gun, and grabbed his shoulder in pain. Thick, sharp fangs, dove into his arm, as a large wolf lunged at him. The wolf pulled his fangs away and jumped from his shoulder, to stand in front of the girl. He snarled, and pounced at the man again, this time to be met by a strong fist to the side of his head. The man was wearing a ring, which cut the wolf across his eye. The wolf closed his left eye, to keep the blood out. The wolf growled like crazy now, and he ran at him. He took hold of his left arm, and sunk his teeth in deep. The man pulled his arm away, and stared coldly into the wolf's eyes. He then turned and ran out of the alley, holding his left arm, as he ran. The wolf didn't bother to run after him, seeing as how the girl was more important.
He turned to her, and stared into her wide blue eyes. She stared back into his dark red ones.
Suddently, a bright blue light came from the wolf. The shadow of the light, worked up, and turned into what looked like, a human shadow. The light died down, and a man stood in the place of the wolf.
He looked back at her, and she had fainted. He picked her up, and carried her out of the alley. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
