I ended this last year
While thinking of you
And I hoped that you were
Thinking of me too
I began this new year
While hoping for your love
Will it even come?
I really hope it does
I don't know quite why
But I want you so bad
And all those days I've spent with you
Were the best I've ever had
And as I sit in my chair
And listen to my song
I wonder if I might have
Done something wrong
In our relationship that is
Because I don't know why
But I feel like I might have
Passed something by
Well, in this new year
I hope to share it with you
I want to love you and I hope
You want to love me too
