   AGH! I'M SICK!!!!
I feel like absolute and utter GARBAGE. And I have to miss school tomorrow because that stupid DOCTOR said so. It's not that I really want to go to school with all of my heart, but I really don't want to have to make up sludge with all my heart. e.e; Yes, sludge starts tomorrow. And I dunno if my partner knows what the heck she's doing. Maybe she'll be out, too.
What I have: Strept. Argh. Throat is KILLING me.
Why I have it: If I knew why I had it, I would have made it a point to avoid it in all means.
Happy note: Uh...None really. Just because I get tot stay home doesn't mean I'm going to be jolly. I suffer from DISEASE, people.

This next picture was mostly to make me feel better (and it didn't work), but it'll make other happy for sure. Sam, we're going to see this movie, even if we have to skip school.

Merry Belated Christmas!

I had an AWESOME Christmas this year. I'd like to take time to thank Stef SOOOO much for the LotR T-Shirt ( I LOOOOVVVEEE it!!! ) and Emm for the Oboe Disney Solos book (XD The Oboe sounds lame for a lot of the songs, but that's okay! The only thing that matters is that I'm really happy about it.) and an 18" Captain Jack Sparrow. And he TALKS! Jack HAD to be one of my most favorite gifts! He talks whenever you try to move, though.
Me: *walks into the room*

Me: *stops for a moment* *__* WHOA... *goes to get oboe*

We each get our own desktop now! I made mine all Legolas-in-Lothlorien themed. When log on, I hear, "He is no mere Ranger. He is Aragorn, son of Arathorn...". When I log off I hear this whole big thing about something drawing near and blah blah. And I dunno what happened, but I switched my "You've Got Mail!" to "A lament for Gandalf..."
The background is light blue with four Leggie pictures. n_n I added "Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood" onto it.

   Flags, Rifles, and Pain

Well, we just had our actual practice yesterday, and I must say, it is AWESOME. We learned how to twirl flags (not too good at that yet....) and rifles (got pretty good at that after I got home and practiced) or sabres(didn't try it). Emm and I were SUPPOSED to start on sabre, but we got stuck on rifle. Actually, I wanted to start on sabre, and then one of the captains told me I'm better off starting on sabre, and ta! I'm on rifle anyway! At the beginning of practice, I whacked Emm in the face with the end of a flag, and I'm REALLY, REALLY, REALLY sorry! I AM REALLY SORRY, EMM!!!!! ;-;

Speaking of getting whacked in the face with a flag...I was practicing outside today, and I threw the flag up, and the wind blew the material into my face and I couldn't see and I got hit on the bridge of the nose. I'm okay though! I just got a small little red mark. And rifle's easy now...But my wrist is sore. I wonder if Emm's wrist is sore, too...And I wonder if her hand is okay. Last night the rifle whacked her hand and a vein started to swell. Ouch. >.o;
Flag is still funky...I can figure eight and catch(FINALLY.), but my twirling gets messed up. I realized that I was twirling wrong, and I got so used to doing it the wrong way that it was hard to do it the right way. But I got it! I got it!

We might do the Sorcerer's Apprentice for our show. I wanted to do Pirates of the Caribbean, of course, but the Sorcerer's Apprentice isn't bad. Jen said that she was going to make one of us be a chair. XD The dance part will be cool, though. We roll all over the floor and stuff. Whoo! For those of you who haven't heard the Sorcerer's Apprentice (Which you all should have, because it was featured in Fantasia...You know, the movie with Mickey Mouse and the enchanted brooms who kept bringing water...), I'll try to get a midi file up.

Erm...I don't have a unique name for this post. o_o
fRiDaYYYY...
*bursts into melodramatic tears* MY LAST FREE FRIDAY IS GOOONNNEEEE!!!! *tears stop* But I get to go to Color Guard now. ^^ Whoo! And to celebrate the Friday, Emm and I went to Teen Night! (AGAIN. ) And I must thank her so so so so so so SOOOOO much because she payed for me and gave me a ride. It was very awesome. We were skating past this dump truck game where you try to dump a truck by hitting a lever with your coin...And we got almost 400 tickets from it...But the thing was... WE WEREN'T EVEN PLAYING IT. It just kept spitting out tickets! The most you could win for that game was probably only about 100 or so tickets. And I was looking at it spit out tickets, and Emm sees it and goes "WHOA!" so she speeds over and I follow her and we wait there for like five minutes. XD Four-hundred freaking tickets, man! Well, actually only 370, BUT CLOSE ENOUGH. And we only used 100 to get cheap yo-yo's.

I've really been slacking off on that. Must...Work...On...It... Yeah. Winter Concert's on Wednesday. I got a new oboe reed (made to suit what I want to sound like) and I'm having trouble keeping good air support. I think she made it a hard instead of a medium. I would use my other reed, but it's a manufactured reed and it makes the oboe sound too bright. I need to sound round and full and dark, overall. If you don't understand what I'm talking about because you're not a musician, then I'm sorry for wasting your time talking about it.

Argh. I is sad about Lord Sk8. He has somebody alrreeeadddyyy. *sniffle* But Emm's mom said that the color guard girls always get cute guys. XD So I might have luck!

Argh. Winter Guard is SO much fun! In our first meeting we ran around acting like idiots. xD We screamed and waved our arms, acted like chimpanzees, elephants, chickens, frogs, like we were in peanut butter, frozen peanut butter...It was crraaazzzyyyy. Whoo! FUN! We have practices on Wednesdays and Fridays...Fridays from 6-9. Agh. There goes MY Friday nights. Psh. Until at least March.
