   Band Camp! AGH!
Yes, the time has finally come. The mayhem and chaos begins tomorrow at 10:30 in the morning. It's supposed to be fun, but there's no edible food except for the salad. And a lot of bugs. And no air conditioning/heating. AND marching while trying to hold a flute parallel to the ground the whole time and remembering the music that you were SUPPOSED to memorize but never got to it. *cough* It's not the Hilton...But you can have a mint on your pillow if you put it there! LOL. If any of my friends would like to see the show before anybody else does, come to the high school at 6 PM on Thursday. Our drill routine is really cool. We have a prop ship and we're in wave formations so it looks like the ship is in the ocean. It's great, but difficult.

Today's practice was absolute TORTURE. We practiced parts of the drill to the first movement out in the POURING rain. And he had us outside with our instruments until the storm got BAD. And then we just went back outside to practice the drill. I've got a really ugly tan, too. *pout*

Well, if I don't make it back, you'll know that they tortured me at band camp too much. It can't be that bad...Can it?

   Band, band, and more band...With some SCIENCE! *snort* Nah. No science. Hair dye!
Yes, yes. Again another day of marching band practice! Today it's going to end early because there's a meeting for all band parents at 7 regarding band camp. I can't wait to go! To band camp, that is. On Saturday I have another practice from 9 in the morning till 5 at night. What can we possibly be doing for 8 hours?! Is band camp going to be like that?! I hope we get longer breaks.
And I dyed my hair a dark red. It came out retarded because I had blonde highlights and I didn't touch up the roots. (My hair is naturally a really dark brown/black) My mom said it looks darker than my natural color that that cannot be! =P So bleh. I need to go fancy up the appearance on this journal thingie so toodles until after practice!

   Have you HEARD our Marching Band's music?!
Our marching band music is HAAARRDDD. And when I say it's hard, dude, it's hard. And we have to memorize this stuff by next week! I dunno about my friends, but I'm in a bit of a pickle. I can barely PLAY any of this stuff, save MEMORIZE it. Aiyanah's Theme is pretty easy, though. You can listen to our show by going to this website:

It's called Lords of the Sea and it's about Vikings. Marching is really fun and I encourage anybody who's on the fence for their decision about joining the marching band to JOIN IT. It's a great experience...Well, I can't really prove that just yet. So far it's been awesome. I love it.
Not to brag, but the marching band I'm in holds the title for State Champions. (( I know I say I live in Middle-earth...But...Try NJ State Champs. Woo!)) Well, go and listen to the music and be amazed if one day I post "I FINALLY GOT THE HANG OF THIS MUSIC!"

   See?! I told you!!!
Yep. Here I am. I haven't updated in FOREVER. Oh, and I fixed everything to change to a Hobbity, Lord of the Rings-ish theme. It sorta resembles the theme I have on the band website. (Http://www.hooverband.2ya.com) I'm not even in that band anymore...But I won't delete the website. It's got good stuff on it! And I made all of that customized stuff by MYSELF!Like the banner and the pictures.
Yesterday was fun. Went to Teen Night...Again...With Emm, as always. She's my Teen Night buddy. She can always go when I go...Usually. There was this one night when she wasn't home and I went with Mandi, but I think that might've been the only time. This time they (Emm and Dan) somehow got me into their game of tag. Really fun. Did the cha-cha slide in skates, too. Emm wanted to do Cotton Eye Joe in skates, too, but thank GOODNESS they didn't play it. Pulling that dance in skates is like committing suicide!

   Just a LITTLE discombobulated.
Well, here I am working on this...THING. I guess I stopped working on Xanga. *cough* But I never really get around to updating anything I start. Take the HHMS band website, for example. I've still got lesson schedules up there from JANUARY. I had an excuse though. Geocities was being retarded on me. =P Today I went to some company picnic. Went swimming in FREEZING water. My lips turned blue. LOL. I didn't want to get out, though. I felt fine!
Hmm...That Gary dude is...Wow. I won't even say it. Emm knows who I'm talking about. He's from that place we go to almost every Friday night. Mandi hasn't gone with us in a while. And I haven't seen Stephers, either. Come to think of it, I haven't really seen ANYBODY for a while. Except for the marching band peoples.
