   Flags, Rifles, and Pain

Well, we just had our actual practice yesterday, and I must say, it is AWESOME. We learned how to twirl flags (not too good at that yet....) and rifles (got pretty good at that after I got home and practiced) or sabres(didn't try it). Emm and I were SUPPOSED to start on sabre, but we got stuck on rifle. Actually, I wanted to start on sabre, and then one of the captains told me I'm better off starting on sabre, and ta! I'm on rifle anyway! At the beginning of practice, I whacked Emm in the face with the end of a flag, and I'm REALLY, REALLY, REALLY sorry! I AM REALLY SORRY, EMM!!!!! ;-;

Speaking of getting whacked in the face with a flag...I was practicing outside today, and I threw the flag up, and the wind blew the material into my face and I couldn't see and I got hit on the bridge of the nose. I'm okay though! I just got a small little red mark. And rifle's easy now...But my wrist is sore. I wonder if Emm's wrist is sore, too...And I wonder if her hand is okay. Last night the rifle whacked her hand and a vein started to swell. Ouch. >.o;
Flag is still funky...I can figure eight and catch(FINALLY.), but my twirling gets messed up. I realized that I was twirling wrong, and I got so used to doing it the wrong way that it was hard to do it the right way. But I got it! I got it!

We might do the Sorcerer's Apprentice for our show. I wanted to do Pirates of the Caribbean, of course, but the Sorcerer's Apprentice isn't bad. Jen said that she was going to make one of us be a chair. XD The dance part will be cool, though. We roll all over the floor and stuff. Whoo! For those of you who haven't heard the Sorcerer's Apprentice (Which you all should have, because it was featured in Fantasia...You know, the movie with Mickey Mouse and the enchanted brooms who kept bringing water...), I'll try to get a midi file up.

Yes, we had our first ever concert in high school! And it was EXCITING. I got pictuurrreesss. And I'll try to put a few up. I may need consent from the other people who might appear in the pictures. Dunno. Didn't get them developed yet.
