“The Great Authoress Pan”
P.s. I know Sanji really doesn’t have a room behind the kitchen and he sleeps down in the bunk room with all the other guy’s but for this story…he has a room behind the kitchen…it’s like a pantry ok? But it has his stuff in it. On with the story! No Flames Please!
“The Great Authoress Pan”
Zoro
We had docked the port with, like always, our flag out, showing everyone at the docks we were pirates. The name’s Zoro, you don’t like it, then shove off. I’m the first mate on our ship and also a master swordsman. Nami is a thief and our navigator, Usopp is a marksman, replacement captain and a handyman, Sanji is our head chef, and Luffy is out captain. We’re all a little strange but Luffy is the weirdest.
Besides him being a little crazy in the head, he has weird powers. He ate a devil fruit at an early age and he became a rubber man. Hard to believe but you should see him fight! Glad I don’t have to fight him.
We walked along the dock but no one seemed to notice us. There was, what seemed to be, a fight in the center square. So we went to find out what was going on.
Sanji
We arrived into the center square to find out what was going on. Zoro had thought there was a fight, and it’s true that there was screaming, but it was that of a helpless woman, not that of a person who could fight back.
We pushed through the crowed and found a large man, about six foot tall, beating on a young woman. She was curled up on the ground, bleeding and screaming in pain. People were cheering for the man, egging him on to hurt her more.
“Kill her, kill her, kill her!” they cheered and I couldn’t stand it.
“STOP!” I ran and blocked the next kick he was aiming for her head. People were looking at me like I was insane. “Didn’t ‘che hear me? I told you to stop hurting the poor girl.”
Zoro
“…I told you to stop hurting the poor girl.” Sanji was standing over the girl, his hands in his pockets and balancing on his one leg as he blocked the man with his other. His face was locked in a snarling glare and a half smoked cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
Only a few things could get Sanji this pissed off, and hurting a defenseless woman was one of them.
“That b*st*rd…hurting a girl much smaller than he is.” I muttered under my breath. I wasn’t going to stand for it. I drew out my cursed sword and before anything could be said, I ran and I stabbed the man through the chest. The next thing you knew, the man was lying on the ground, dead. I didn’t even flinch as the blood stained my shirt.
Sanji
The blood splattered on the ground, and on Zoro, and on the girl, and also on myself. I’d have to hurt Zoro later for ruining my favorite jacket, and it’s very expensive too. I didn’t care at the time being, I was helping the girl on the ground. I picked her up and started to carry her back to the ship. My nakama knew she needed help and they just fallowed me back to the ship.
When we arrived back to the ship, I took her to my room behind the kitchen and laid her down on my bed. Grabbing some wet cloth’s and a first-aid-kit, I walked back into my room to clean and bandage her wounds.
I finished cleaning her up in about a half of an hour. She was in horrible condition. She had a lot of cuts along her body and bruises too. Mainly along her stomach. Things didn’t look like they would get any better.
Zoro
I stayed outside the kitchen, waiting for Sanji to finish helping the girl. I don’t know why I reacted the way I did, something just made me snap inside and triggered me to do what I did.
Sanji walked out of the kitchen door and I stood up, meeting his gaze. He was pale and looked upset. I knew that this meant bad news.
“I’m sorry Zoro…but” he looked down and I got ready for the heart break, “she’ll be fine in a couple of days, with some good food and much needed sleep.” he was smiling! That lying bastard tricked me!
“You b*st*rd, if you weren’t our cook, you’d be dead by now.” and he laughed at me, smiling more.
Sanji
“…you’d be dead by now.” I couldn’t help but laugh and smile at him. Zoro was so gullible at some times.
“Sorry Zoro, I couldn’t help myself, it was just perfect timing!” he let go of my, now ruined jacket, and pushed past me into my room.
He sat on the floor next to my bed where she was asleep. Her wounds were covered and there were some scratches and bruises on her face. You only could see the wounds on her face because she was covered by my blanket up to her chin.
“She’s gunna be okay you know.” I said, standing over her on the other side of my bed. I sat down next to her and brushed the stray strands of hair from her face.
“She’s beautiful.” Zoro said and I just looked at him and nodded.
Zoro
“She’s beautiful.” I didn’t think he heard me since I was talking to myself, but sure enough Sanji looked at me and nodded. She really is beautiful. She has short brown hair, a pale, lean face, and from what I could tell before, she has blue eyes and small rounded glasses that sit on the base of her nose, but she looked better without them.
Everyone looks peaceful when they’re asleep but she didn’t look asleep. She looked more like she was dead, and the only thing that eased my nerves was the steady rise and fall of her chest. I sighed deeply, leaning against the wall facing the side of the bed. All there was left to do was wait until she got better and woke up.
“You might as well just go to sleep.” Sanji said to me over her. She would be out for the next few days.
J.J
I don’t remember much of what happened, all I remember is Joe beating me, but someone stopped him, yelling out to stop, and then I was covered in blood that wasn’t my own.
I could feel someone sitting next to me on the bed I was lying on, I also smelled smoke from a cigarette, most likely from the person sitting next to me. I wasn’t sure what to expect but still I opened my eyes slowly, staring up at the wooden ceiling. The man with the cigarette had blond hair covering half of his face and he was pale with worry. I tried to say something but my throat was dry and nothing came out, but he did notice me and he put a cup to my lips. I drank hastily for my dry throat.
“So you’re finally awake, glad to see it.” I looked over to the man sitting in the corner who spoke.
Sanji
“…glad to see it.” this was the first time Zoro had spoken in the last three days. The girl was awake and I had given her some herbs in liquid form for the pain. I smiled down at her.
“You look hungry.” and she nodded. “I better go make you some food then.” I got up and went into the kitchen to fix some food for her. I got her something light. A couple rolls and some fruit.
When I walked back in my room, Zoro was sitting on the bed next to her and she was crying. Zoro had an arm around her shoulder and she cried into his chest. I set the food down on my bedside table.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, a little worried. And then Zoro spoke.
“The man I killed was her father.”
Zoro
When Sanji left the room and went into the kitchen I got up and sat next to the girl. Which reminded me…
“So what’s your name?” she was looking at the ceiling and she turned her head towards me.
“Jionachi Jikata…but you can call me J.J…it’s much easier to remember.” So her name was J.J, okay easy enough. “Uhm…sir? What happened to the man in the square?” sighing I told her he was dead. Without warning she burst into tears. I put my arm around her and asked what was wrong. That’s when she said the man who was beating her was her father. Sanji walked back in and placed a plate of food down.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
“The man I killed was her father.”
J.J
Dead. Joe, my only family left, my father, was dead. Yes he beat me daily and occasionally he raped me but he was the only family I had left and now he was gone.
“It’s ok, everything will be alright.” the man with the green hair spoke to me, he was holding me tightly as I cried into his chest.
“I never asked you,” I looked up at them, brushing my tears away, “what are your name’s?” Zoro was the name of the green haired samurai and Sanji was the name of the blond cook. I looked over at the bedside table and Sanji had brought me some food.
“Go ahead and eat, you can have as much as you want.” he smiled, and I picked I picked up some of the food and started eating. It was really good and I was glad there was such a good cook on their ship.
Sanji
She ate the food quickly. As soon as she finished she looked better. Some on the color had returned back into her face.
“You should go back to sleep.” Zoro was sitting on the bed next to J.J as he spoke to her.
“No…I want to meet everyone else.” J.J was sitting up on the bed, leaning against Zoro and the back board for support.
“I think it would be better if they came to see you instead.” I was about to move towards the door when Zoro said that he’d find everyone else. So he got up and walked out the door, only after he was sure J.J secure leaning against the back board. I sat down next to her and we began to talk.
Zoro
I walked around the ship, looking foe Luffy, Nami and Usopp. They all were in their normal placed they hung out and as soon as they saw me, they immediately asked,
“How is she?” I told them she was fine, her name was J.J and the man I killed was her father. I was about to go back into Sanji’s room but I heard a noise and stopped for a minute.
“What the he*l?” I opened the door and almost fainted. Sanji was leaning over J.J and they were kissing. My eyes were wide as I stared at them, sitting on Sanji’s bed, in his room, kissing. J.J pushed Sanji away and whispered to him,
“I’m sorry…but I’m just not ready.”
J.J
“I’m sorry…but I’m just not ready.” I pushed Sanji away from me. I had been talking to him about my life and he asked me if I had a boyfriend and I said I didn’t. He got closer and closer to me and I was pushed back against the headboard and he did it, he kissed me.
Before I realized what had happened, Sanji had been ripped off of the bed, thrown against the wall, and had been punched in the face.
“D*mn f***ing love cook! Keep your hands off of her!” it was Zoro. He continued to punch Sanji until someone screamed,
“Stop it! Stop!” and only then did I realize that it was me who was yelling at Zoro.
