FINALLY! THE BELATED ANIME EXPO POST!!!!

Jeopardy Anime Expo was great! It was worth the $25 in every way. It was so much fun. I am so going next year.

A got up at 7:00 Sunday, nice and early. A half an hour earlier than my alarm was set for actually. ^_^;; So I got up and started to get ready. After long periods of waiting, I went over to my friend, Brittanie’s house as she was going to AX with me.

We left the house at about 9:45 we live pretty close to Anaheim so we got there pretty fast. We parked and went to the convention area-place-thing. We didn’t know where to go for the tickets and we wandered around for a bit until we asked someone. There was no line for tickets. My mom and I had pre ordered our tickets so we went to that line while Brittanie went to the cash line. She got her ticket before us. ^_^;;

After we got our tickets, my mom let us go off on our own. The exhibit hall had all sorts of stuff all over. We hit all the major booths, Tokyopop, Viz and Bandai. Then we just wandered around the hall. There were so many booths selling all sorts of different stuff. I saw loose socks for sale, they were 120cm long. But they were $25, so I didn’t get them. :sniff:

At 12:00 I went to go meet Sen, Shin and Karmi. I sat around with my friend reading manga while I waited for everyone to show up. I sat around for a good 10 minutes or so and then I saw them. They didn’t know what I looked like, so me walking up to them must have been kinda weird. ^_^;; So anyways, we all met up and walked around the exhibit hall.

Our first stop was the Viz booth. There was a big give away thing where they were throwing t-shirts at the people who were surrounding this big structure-like thing. It was just really crowed and people were chanting “over here over here over here ect.�E We were behind a big support thing, so none of us got a t-shirt.

After that, we wandered around the exhibit hall more, then decided to sit down at a table. We sat around for a while and rested our poor little feet. After that, we went and wandered around for a little while more.

After more wandering, we went into the fan art room. Karmi got a drawing and I got cat ears. ^_^ I proudly wore them for the rest of the day. There was a lot of really cool drawings in there.

After the art room, Karmi went off to do her thing and Sen, Shin and his sister, Brittanie and I went to the Marriott to watch anime. We got there a little early so we went into the arcade. It was packed full. They had a lot of games, DDR, this Initial D racing game thing and various others. One game caught my eye, it was this game like DDR but you waved your arms around instead of using your feet. If I ever see another one of those, I am so going to try it. ^_^

After our trip to the magical arcade, we wandered around the hotel looking for our video room. We took a short detour in a video room showing Read or Die. But we got kicked out because we were “sitting in the isles.�E Ah well.

Finally it was time for our show and we went to the video room it was in. We saw three anime. The first one was Stratos 4, it was okay, it had a lot of fan service. >_< Since it ended early, they did a quiz on it and I answered a question and got a t-shirt. It was from anime expo 2001 though. Oh well. At least I got a t-shirt. XD The second one was this mini goddess anime with the goddesses of Ah My Goddess! It was cute. The third one was Tsukihime. Oh my god. It rocked. It had really cool music (lots of violin, I wouldn’t mind getting the sheet music for it ^_^) and a really cool story. I would love to see the rest of this series.
After we watch the anime, my friend got picked up by her mom and I continued on with the con-ness.

After the anime and more wandering around, we went back to the convention center and met up with Karmi. We wandered around and looked at cosplayers and we saw the infamous Man Faye! He has the biggest hairiest ass sticking out of this little yellow shorts. Karmi got a picture with him. XD

Then Shin and his sister had to leave. But not until we took a picture, in the street. XD

After Shin and his sister left, there was a lot more wandering around looking at cosplayers and looking for Karmi’s mom.

After even more wandering around, looking at cosplayers and looking for Karmi’s mom, Sen had to leave. After goodbyes and hugs we went around and wandered and looked for Karmi’s mom more. After a good 15 minutes of looking, she finally decided to walk back to her hotel. I decided to walk with her to the big street in front of the convention center while I called my mom. So I call her and she said that she would pick me up and that she was very disappointed in me. And I asked why. She was disappointed with me because Brittanie went home early without me and we were supposed to stick together. When she said that earlier that day, I interpreted it as stick with the group, and that’s basically what she said. So yeah, she came and picked me up and I had to do kitchen duty for the whole week. Oh joy.
