I'm back
Music: Auf Der Mar - Followed the Waves

Well, I’ve finally decided to stop being such a lazy idiot and actually post in this thing.

After months of planning and organizing and cleaning, I have finally moved out into the guest house. It’s great. I have been out there for several days already. It’s wonderful to be out there, it gives me a sense of independence. I love to be out there, just reading or watching TV. I even enjoy doing my homework out there.

My sister should be moving out there, but she doesn’t want to. I’m hoping she decides to stay in the main house, but knowing my luck, she’ll be coming out.

School starts in eight days, on August 30th. (I think the math is correct, but correct me if I am wrong) I’m excited, as it is my first year of high school, but a week in, I know that I’m probably going to want out.

Tomorrow is registration and picture day. I think I’m going to wear this red lace top that I found while thrifting and a pair of black pants. I don’t know if I should wear my hair up or down.

I just really want this picture to turn out. Ever since about fifth grade, my school pictures have sucked major ass, and this is not an understatement.

In fifth grade, I looked like I was grimacing, the look on my face plainly said “Is this done yet?!?”

In sixth grade, I looked like a chipmunk. My head was cocked to the side and a smile stretching from chubby cheek to chubby cheek. I still had a “when is this going to be over smile.”

My seventh grade picture wasn’t all that bad actually. I had concert clothes on, so I looked all spiffy.

Last years picture was really bad. I had horrible acne, my hair was messy and it looked dirty and I picked the worst outfit. I had a red little jacket-ey thing on over a tan cami. The red jacket would have looked alright if I wore it over a black or white cami, but I had to be stupid and pick the tan one. Tan. What the fuck was I thinking. It looked absolutely horrible. And I had another grimace-smiles again. That was probably the worst school picture of me ever.

But this year, I hope the picture looks good. I’m starting to think I shouldn’t even try to smile. Because of how bad attempting to smile has turned out in the past. But we’ll just have to wait and see how it turns out. Yay for horrible school pictures.
