   hey guys
things seem to be going a lot better here. but, have a lot of work to do. -_- that's summer school for you, huh? i have 2 projects, 2 tests, and 1 paper due tomorrow. but it's ok. i've finished one of my projects, and the other is MOSTLY completed, i just have to make it look all pretty. and then the tests shouldn't be that hard. also, the paper is just supposed to be a page, so it's not that bad. i feel kinda bad for my roomate, she hasn't really done any of her work, and she's kinda stressing, even though she tries to play it down.

i hope everyone had a fun fourth of july. i spent mine working, but hey, i had to do the work. so i stayed in and watched the CBS special of the Boston Pop and i watched their firework (which honestly is better than last year where we stood around in the rain waiting for the fireworks- which they shot off i think 2 hours late because of the rain.)

   happy fourth of july!
so, it today was my third day of classes. things are going better with my roomate, but i need to clarify something. when i said that my suite-mate threw up, it wasn't my roomate. the rooms are situated so that it's two rooms joined by a common bathroom. since all four of us share the bathroom, the girl in the other room was the one throwing up. and yes, she had been drinking. she has gone out drinking every night we've been here. it's kinda weird to think about that she is probably going to be one of those girls who gets asked to leave before the end of freshman year. at this rate, she might not even make it through the summer. -_-

anyhoo, yesterday i ate something that made my stomach all funny, so i almost got sick in my second class. it wasn't fun. and then i spent all night taking notes for history. i didn't even finish. i really need to speed up the time it takes for me to take notes before the year actually starts. otherwise, i'm going to die.

but good news, today is also my grandfather's birthday. i always thought it was cool that he was born on independence day. and please dont aske me how old he is, i have no idea. all i know is he's around 80, if my math is right.

anyway, i have to go and register for my fall classes now. bye guys.

   today is my second day of classes
yesterday was better than sunday. i didn't post here about sunday night, but basically, my roomate ditched me and i was all alone the first niht of of college. woot.

yesterday was a little bit better, but then my roomate ditched me again. which, honestly, is ok because i had a lot of work today (not only hw, but my placement exams). so that was fun. and after i finished my work, i went to bed. just a few minutes after a fall asleep, i hear the girl in the room joined to our start throwing up. and i'm squeamish, so i started to feel sick, and had to watch some comedy central to feel better. at least she's better too. i think she only got sick b/c she was drinking.

anyway, today is the second day of classes. i'm already tired, but i can't do anything about that. at least i know that everyone else is dead asleep too. ^_^ i'll post more later.

   i am officially moved into my dorm
my roomate's name is Megan, she's from NJ, and she's going to be an art major. so itll be fun for me because all of my friends are artists.

it was so sad. we got here and realized all this stuff that we forgot, so we went to target and got some stuff. then we went on a gas run so i could find out where i can fill up my car, and we found a Krispy Kream (sp?)! YAY!!! so that'll be good. ^^

anyway, i have orientation in an hour and a half, and that'll be fun, i guess. it's probably just gonna be rules and stuff, but hey, we need to learn them... i guess.

o, one thing that's really comforting about this whole summer school experience thing is that everyone here is going to be a fresham (except for the RA's), so we're all in the same boat as for being totally and completely lost. ^_^

alrighty, i'm gonna go. i'm really tired... we spent the night in a local hotel because it's a long drive, but both my parents snore, so i didn't get to sleep much. woot. so i'm gonna go and try not to fall asleep during orientation. ^_^

   GYAH!!!!
i am in High Point, NC. in case i never said this, i'm going to go to school at high point university, and i'm going to attend the summer session, which starts on monday, so i came up here today, and i'm registering and moving in tomorrow.

i'm so scared about tomorrow! i have to go to campus and move in and everything! the only thing is, i dont know who my roomate is, i have no idea where i'm going, and i and just cluesless as to how the majority of tomorrow is going to go! and this is really bad because i'm a planner by nature. i like having everything planned out, so this is just like torture.

as for my stomach, i dont know why it always hurts too. i think it's just guilt pains (fyi- i feel guilty because i'm leaving all of my friends in atlanta- i graduated a year early from high school). but thank you for your support.

anhoo, i should probably go and get some sleep. bye.

   ah, my tummy's upset!
yesterday was not fun. i went to the orthodontist, where i was completely yelled at because i didn't wear my rubber bands, and then i had a nervous breakdown while talking to my friend on the phone. so yeah.

today was a little better. i got to get the final things that i needed for college, but i feel kinda sick. why does my stomach always hurt?

anyhoo, i just wanted to stop in and say that i update some more art. woot.

   it's 1AM!
anyhoo, i guess this is going to registar as tuesday. woot.

anyhoo. my mom and i drove back from florida today. the window is nice and repaired/replaced, and everythings going good. i finally got over my food poisoning. just a few queasies here and there, but nothing major.

um, i have an orthodontist appointment today. i'm not looking forward to it, but hey, i still get my braces off as soon as i get back from summer school. THAN GOD! i dont even care that my back teeth aren't in line anymore. they are just too annoying, and i'm tired of hearing, "you're so close. they look really good."

also, i wanna do some driving today. i want to go and see what became of my old dance studios and i wana go back and see the park that was across the street of my old neighborhood. for some reason, i feel like i need to know what became of everything before i leave again, just so i can have it right in my head. it's weird, but i'm weird, so it's all good.

alrighty, so it's kinda late, and i'm gonna go to bed now. bye. ^_^

in other news, i'm in Florida again. someone broke a window in our house down here so i'm here with my mom so there is someone here while the guy comes so repair it. ^_^

in other news, i found this amazing new band called Paramore. i'm surprised that i hadn't found them before this. they've already got out two albums and i'm only now finding them! this is bad for my reputation. (translation: i usualy find awesome music on line about 6 months before they ever appear on TRL, and i failed! something's wrong with me.)

   i can't drive! AGAIN!
when i came back from CA, i lost my walet. because that means that i didn't have my drivers lisence also, so i couldn't drive. i finally got it back yesterday, and it was amazing being able to drive again. however, my dad's car just broke, so he's using mine! ARG! i just want to be able to drive!!!!!

sorry. in other news, my friend Catherine is leaving tomorrow for her summer program. i saw her today and we talked and went and got pizza. but it's so sad. she's leaving this week, and i'm leaving next week. we both have 4 week long summer programs at colleges, only because they start at different times, we wont get to see eachother for 5 weeks. with everyone else it's only 4 weeks though. but still, it's no fun.

i went and saw some of my old guy friends today. they are working out in the school gym in the afternoons. it was really weird. only one guy would talk to me, and it wasn't even then guy who i wanted to talk to. it's frustrating because the guy i want to talk to has been avoiding me. a lot. gr.
