Venting and Happiness (all in a little bundle)
ok, so this part of the blog is kinda venting, so i'm just giving you a warning. alrighty, i'm in an argument with a "friend" and that's never an ideal situation, my birthday is three days away (not counting the rest of today), and i just found out that on my birthday, which is monday, i have our first golf match of the season, a history test, and an appointment with my orthodontist. so, i'm not really looking forward to that. so um, i'm done venting now. on to the happy stuff.
one thing kinda strange, when i was younger i always begged my mom for a garden, and so we planted a whole bunch of seeds and bulbs that we had left over from a long time ago (and we planted on the day that it was announced ms. camp, my old principal, who was always a good friend to me, had died). so i went down into my backyard earlier for some randome reason and i saw that the plants were growing. and it made me REALLY happy! and i got one of those natural high things. so YAY! ^_^
ok, i need to finish my homework now. so bye. (ok, and for the record, this will be my 38th post, and i have yet to recieve a single comment. so please, comment on my posts, even if you just say, "comment", that's fine with me). ok, i'm really going now.
....
....
ok, bye.
EDIT!
ok, so we were talking in GSA about how Coretta Scott King was a big advocate of Gay and Lesbian rights, well, these are two of were quotes.
"Homophobia is like racism and anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry in that it seeks to dehumanize a large group of people, to deny their humanity, their dignity and personhood"
- Coretta Scott King
"I still hear people say that I should not be talking about the rights of lesbian and gay people and I should stick to the issue of racial justice," she said. "But I hasten to remind them that Martin Luther King Jr. said, 'Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.'" "I appeal to everyone who believes in Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream to make room at the table of brother- and sisterhood for lesbian and gay people"
-Coretta Scott King
