....um....
i'm on daddy dearest's computer, so a) the typing's snail-like, and b) i can't access my usual places for weird holidays. *pouts* So now i have to use my imagination, which, essentially, doesn't exist....
oh, i had a daydream, which is really like a dream, because it's when you sort of ignore everything around you and you can't hear or move or anything. anyway, i had a daydream a week ago in the car. i was zoning out (i could faintly hear christmas music in the background) and then we passed a tree. It was really dark against the sky, which was all cloudy'n stuff, grey (I happen to live in the 2nd cloudiest state in the US.) There wasn't a road there, sure sign that it's a dream. there was a guy being hanged from one of the top branches. Weird thing was, he was hanging UP. so he was upside down. he was wearing a suit, and his head was to one side. As we got closer, i realized his clothes were dirty, and they weren't hanging off his body. but it seemed normal that he was floating up, dead, against the sky.

and then mom changed the station on the radio and the guy hanging upside down was gone.

I don't remember if I saw his face closely. this is weird.

Does anyone here watch Will and Grace? I adore the show. it's so funny and manages to be sort of relevant to life at the same time, which is what's so great about it.

So in honor of it being the day before will and Grace, I will extract the first quote I can think of from the show.

saw walk the line last night after eating dinner at four o'clock. rating as follows.

considering the way i rated Ray, they should be glad. because it is SO much better than Ray. it doesn't hurt that i'm such a huge fan of Phoenix, either, i guess. but i am. but i'm a huge fan of jamie foxx as well (collateral--all the way!) but i didn't like Ray, and i liked Walk The Line.

j.r. cash. why was he such a messed-up guy? well, i think it's safe to say that it was partly elvis' fault, for getting him on the pills in the first place. but what really brought this rating up was the scene where j.r. talks to his dad about what he said when he was a kid. when his brother jack died. his dad said j.r. should have been the one on the saw. ever since, cash had believed him....and i really liked the part when he finally stopped acting like everything was great between him and his father.

....hi.
just saw Rentalicious. Rent. hm.....how to review....I'll include one kinda spoiler in here. I repeat--spoiler. S-P-O-I-L-E-R. Okay? (I used to do movie reviews for a while, casually, and people got...really...really....really....pissed when I spoiled stuff.)

Rating: 8/10

There were some really artistically done scenes. The script stayed close to the original for the musical. Almost identical, actually.

Pretty good until the ending. There were too many endings, like they couldn't just leave it as it was. And when she came back, well...that was too much. the music is nice, if you wanna get sentimental.

The Akita, Goodbye, and La Vie Boheme scenes were the scenes really worth seeing. worth MOST of the $4.50 I spent seeing it. I'd say, oh, $3.00 of it.

no tears were shed. Actually, i've never cried during a movie. but just thought i'd say.

Nov. 24th
i know this sounds dumb, but have any of you ever fallen in love--or, at least, lust--with a good friend of yours? i don't know what to do. stupid, i know. it's kind of complicated, though.

i got chicken shoved down my throat today. so i'm gonna go sleep. hope all of you aren't going to die of overeating, all y'all in america...or whoever the hell else celebrates thanksgiving.

and if you have native american ancestry, i swear, i'm pissed off on the behalf of your ancestors. i really am, and i think the new englanders were all ego-centric bastards. but it's the symbolism...and it's days like this that bring my parents together for a while, so....

don't forget to floss today. it's national flossing day. which is stupid, because no kid flosses well. except me, because my mom is THIS CLOSE to installing a camera in my toothbrush.

what? You freaks! I am SOOOO not making anything up. get these from completely reliable sources, namely, sites are dedicated to some of these holidays.

*coughs from back of room*. Cricket. Cricket.

Oh, shut up, all y'all...anyway, today's no turkey thanksgiving day! So eat chicken and cranberry sauce and get off school! Because today's a holiday!

I mean, seriously, if i were head of the school board....uh...well, there would BE no school, but if i were to make rules, then we'd have nearly every day off because of a holiday!! And it would become national!! And I'd save poor, innocent children from getting....you know....smart.

another thing, if you're wondering i'm average dumbness. or smartness. i like to read, so i suppose that helps. I'm in ES math, and i understand most concepts....but i still hate school and wish it didn't exist.

and another thing. Harpo Marx was born today. if you were wondering.

and by the way, thanksgiving for me is going to be turkey free in any case, because of....my mom. she doesn't want turkey. so she's going to make cornish game hens. and all the thanksgiving trimmings. minus the turkey.

so tell me how your thanksgivings go.
