This is my cuisn
This Is My Hero:
Her name is Emily Rae Rice
And she taught me so much
I never had to worry about worrying
She always knew what to do
She was always happy
And never failed to cheer me up
Nothing I can say
Will ever communicate what she was to me

She was taken from me and my family
On February 19th, 2006
By Denver Health Medical Center
And Denver County Jail
She cried for help for 24 hours
On a jail cell floor
[Which she was in for traffic violations]
And everyone but her cell mates ignored her
She died of internal bleeding
From a lacerated liver
Because she was in a car wreck
And DHMC failed to treat her

The last lesson she ever taught me
Was to live.
Don't think
Don't regret
Don't analyze
Just.
Live.
