 i wanted to know what colour that was.
You're a "Yellow Angel" which means
you're probably really motherly. You're not
like a soccermom or anything but you're
protective of those you care for and you'd do
anything for them. You're usually the wiser one
in your group of friends and you're a good
psychiatrist because you've been through a lot
of stuff and know the best thing to do in every
situation. But you don't take any crud from
other people and they respect you for your
ability to stick up for yourself and others but
you don't pick pointless fights just because
your mad. You're very controled and can deal
with anything with a calm smile. (If you cannot

 Why are we drawn to anime?
So many of us out there like anime that we don't stop to think about WHY we like it. Is it because of the guys/girls? The fighting? Or just the fact that it makes us different from others? This will explain my views on this topic.
I think anime is so popular because of the characters. Not the fact that they are cute, but the fact that they remind us of ourselves. In any anime, you are sure to find one character you can identify with, while in regular cartoons, the characters are un-humanlike. In anime, the characters go through struggles in life, just like we do, and deal with it in their own way. They have to deal with boy/girlfriends, family, puberty, growing up, all of the things we ouselves go through. I believe it is because they are so like us that we are drawn to them. Their looks don't hurt things either.
Another reason we might watch anime is because it isn't always a fairy tale ending. We Americans have a tendency to create a "happily ever after" ending in any show we make. For example, in the show Danny Phantom on Nickelodeon, the main character, Danny, always gets in trouble, sometimes life-threatening. And yet he pulls out of it, and everything is safe. But in the anime Magic Knight Rayearth, in the first season, Umi, Hikaru, and Fuu are called to Cephiro to save it. They think they have to rescue Princess Emeraude, when in reality they have to kill her to save Cephiro.
Another thing that makes anime so great is the music. The music may be in Japanese most of the time, but the tune is so good, we just can't help but hear it again. The music sets the stage for everything else; it increases the drama (or in Inuyasha and Kagome's case, the mushiness).
Anime is so great, we can't help but like it. But I think we should never forget why we like it. With that information, we can get others interested, and the world of anime will expand.
