nervous...
The last few days have been pretty good. I was kind of fighting with a good friend of mine, but they didn't know I was made at them. I'm not anymore though, so it's okay.

I have a science test tommorrow; guess I'll have to study tonite. And I've had about two hours of math homework everyday since school started, but fortunately it's been pretty much the only homework I've had. Oh ya, math test friday.

I have my first official cross country meet wednesday, and my goal is to not come in last for my town. We went to run the course today in the other town, but we only took two cars, so only varsity could go. And, we got stuck in traffic, so it took us 45 minutes to go like what would be 15 minutes normally. Wish me luck for wednesday; i'll have to eat a lot of pasta before then.

Well I guess I'll go eat dinner and then do homework. Bye for now,

...well
I'll start with the good news about the first day of school. I ran varisty for my first cross country meet and came in 15th out of 36. (unfortunatley 12/12 for my town)

The bad news I only know one other person in my gym class, and no one in my Writing for High School class. Also there were twice as many people as there were seats in my lunch.

A lot of my friends are in my Biology, Math and Orchestra classes, which is a good thing. But, I have several hours of very hard math homework tonight. Now I remember why school is so horrible.

Well I'm going to go finish science homework and then eat dinner, and then do math homework.

Oh the sheltered life I live...
The last few days have been pretty good I guess- boring, but that is how summer is spossed to be. School unfortunately starts on wednesday, but I guess there's nothing I can do about it.

On friday we had a work out in xc. We had to sprint up a partial sand, partial moss hill that was almost vertical and then sprint down a different path. We did that for half an hour. JV only had to do it for 20 minutes though :( and most of them walked half the time anyway (which the coach was mad about). Then, on saturday we we're spossed to have practice at 10, but it was my coach's birthday, so he wasn't there, so the captains we're supposed to "lead"(I can't think of a better word) practice. But we just stood there for 45 minutes, well I stood there with a few other people, while this other sophmore and two seniors went and moved everyones car, and then they talked about all the marijuana they smoke. (I'm pretty sure half of the ppl who said they did it never did though- they were just trying to act "cool") I was shocked (lol) to say the least. I am never going to do drugs in my life, I mean I don't want to ruin my future just to act cool (even though I hear it is something everyone does except me), but anyway then we finally went running for like 9 miles, while a few people stayed there to smoke joints they said (I don't no what they really did) But anyway, hopefully Monday's practice will be better.

I just realized, though, that because I don't have french until second semester I can't be in french honors society until I'm a junior because they only except people in between the first and second semesters and you need to years of high school french. :( Oh well

Oh no! I also just realized my older brother who I greatly dislike is going to be here all year, since he graduated for college and doesn't seem to want to get a job. He just wants my parents to do everything for him. :( I was in a pretty good mood, too.

Well I'm going to go take a shower before I remember anymore depressing things.

life update
One week until school starts...
...Unfortunately

August went by fast, but it was pretty fun I guess. My cousin taught me two phrases in french, (I guess = J'imagine and I dont care =Je m'en contrefiche or Je m'en fiche or Je m'en fou (but the last ones "vulgar" she said)) And I went swimming a reasonable amount.

I got my schedule from school last week and they didn't let me in honors history again :( Oh well, I guess all honors classes except one is enough. (Even though if I'm not in all honors I have no chance of getting into college.) And, I unfortunately have gym at 7:00 in the morning and I don't know anyone else in my gym class, yet, but hopefully I will find someone. I have math first semester, which is okay I guess; at least I will get it over with. I don't have french until second semester and it will be a year and a half since I had it last, but I am currently translating a story to help me practice, because I'm that cool 8). I don't really knowe many other people in my classes, but at least I have the same lunch as most of my friends.

Cross Country started last thrusday. It's been pretty good so far. Much better than soccer was last year, even though I was better friends with the people who did soccer. But, I know everyone who does cross country at least. Somehow since Spring Track a lot of people either got much worse, or I got much better because im actually better than like 90% of the people now; I'll never be as good as my wonderful brother though.

Well, I think this is the most I've ever written for a post. Maybe I'll start writing more often. Well anyway bye for now,

   Summer
Summer has been pretty good so far. There have been good parts and bad parts. I spent a week at the beach a little while ago, and I'm going back on Sunday. Then We (Me, my mom, and little brother) are going to North Carolina to visit my grandfather, and then my aunt and cousin are coming from France.

Haven't posted in a while... Still have 4 days of classes and 3 of finals left, and I have to build a trebuchet for science, write an essay, and study for 2 other tests that I have like the day before finals. Hopefully I'll post more during the summer :)
