what's your cowboy bebop theme song?

in response of Lupis Gurl's wonderful AFI day
Well, since I love AFI almost as much as she does, and because I want everyone to become as obsessive as I am, here are some lyrics to the three of the songs off the THE ART OF DROWNING album:
"6 to 8"
Six figures enter, they've come to destroy the world. They've called together this storm almost everynight. I awake in another place. A familiar voice with a stranger's face speaks more unheard words. What new friends will the daybring? One for onte thousand acquainted. What new home will the night bring? When it all comes down yhou just throw the bones. On the way I saw five hours of sleep but your fire makes it all worth while. On the way I wrote words for you to keep. On the way, I saw myself. Lost myself along the way.
"The Despair Factor"
Along the path where the stream is talking, I breathe the mist and continue walking. The wood it whispers in a language of its own. As a sigh escaped my lips I feel the light caress of fingertips that steal away the breath and leave me on my own, waiting by the stairs. Waiting, I despair. Do I hear the hollow sound, footsteps resounding on this frozen ground, or the familiar disappointment of the echoes all my own? Somehow I ended up here in between, where there is always the comfort of knowing I'll never be seen when I fall. I wait for just one touch...and I fall...Weightless. Endless. Faithless, I'll adore you. A single touch before I fade. Painless let me pass through.
"Morning star"
I saw a star beneath the stairs glowing through the melting walls. Who will be the first to begin their fall? Or will we become one? Am I the star beneath the stairs? Am I the ghost upon the stage? Am I your anything? I saw a star beneath the stairs glowing bright before descent, and in the morning there is nothing left but what's inside of me. And I don't want to die tonight, will you believe in me? And I don't want to fall into the light. Will you wish upon? Will you walk upon me? I don't want to die tonight. Will you believe in me tonight?

*blah*
Okay, right now I'm in the throws of a really bad case of Senioritis (for those of you unaware of this condition, it happens when you're a senior in high school and school's going to be out soon and you've stopped caring and just continiously look forward to summer and college and don't do any work and just sit feeling like a glazed donut)
With this in mind, don't expect any good posts 'til the summer time or else expect very random off the wall ones.
And for anyone who was wondering: the Military Ball was excellent, Pink danced with me for the majority of the time, and he's a good dancer :) *doink* Forum was alright, we didn't get into the finals for Cretamin and I'm a bloody coward. I can't talk to people I find interesting. But I'm too lazy to explain all that, maybe sometime later. Going insane be back later.

Deo gratias est hodie Veneris
It's Fry-day! It's Fry-day!Very happy today. Today is the Military Ball. I'm going to spaz later. I have a bruise on my right arm from fencing last night with The Mowhawk King, which was fun. Coach wasn't there b/cs of car trouble, but Asst. Coach was :) Today's PT (I'm finally a PO2) and then walking home and then going back to school for rehearsal in Lupis Gurl's play and then going home to take shower and prepare for Military Ball. Then spaz before my ride (Pink *doink, dorky grin*) picks me up between six thirty-five-ish and six forty-five-ish. Today is going to be good. I'm all nervous and jittery. But I shan't let it get to me, no I shan't. ("She's letting it get to her," Sam). Ergh. Well, have a good weekend everyone! :) I'm going to Forum tomorrow for the Cretamin competition, so yeah...wish me luck in everything. Cheers.

Ah-ha!
Well, just got finished checking up on everyone's site on my friend's list since I've been away. It took a long time, needless to say.
I have about fifteen minutes 'til my next class. Physics. Ergh. I'm going to hold a bonfire in my backyard and dance around in my bathing suit buring my stupid, bloody, *&^%, @L#$%%#@ (<----random growly throat noises)science project. Yea, in my bathing suit, I have no urge to be seen naked by anyone thank-you-very-much.
Oh my gosh! State Retreat was so AWESOME! Got to hang out with my friend (who's nickname I can't remember, but as soon as I find my paper I'm going to post her webpage for y'all) and drool over her excellent anime drawings. Right now she's obsessed with gargoyles. Uber.
Then got to see the Bob and Bob Show, Jason Evert (who's book I just finished and it's totally wow!), and Sean Forrest. And WannaBe Stephen was the house band and Guitar is awesome and Someguy is an excellent singer (I'm using the names that they have on their shirts, please do not get confrused with the Someguy who is an Otaku, I'm pretty sure the guy I'm talking 'bout is not one in the same). I got Guitar's e-mail address! He is so awesome, play's guitar (hence the shirt), likes the history channel, is a nonconformist, loves his religion, and (best of the best) is a Bibliophile! Book lovers unite! *myuhahahahahaha!*
Then, after I got home from the most amazing weekend, I got the update from APeX Ministries saying that the DAA (Digital APeX Attacks) #25 is out! And Gene has his own webpage now! Whoo-hoo! Excellente!
okay, webpages to go to (that I know off top of my head)
any of friends you see to left
www.brblue.org (Gene's site)
www.apexministries.com
www.rattlebeak.com (Labyrinth site)
Well, I'm going to go work on a story that I'm starting. Haven't finished my last short story. Need to send 'Retribution' to another market and edit 'Not a Vampire' and create a new chapter for 'Split Apart' (my Laby fan-fic). Stuff to do, stuff to do. (Note: none of that's for school, I'm not caring about my school work. Only one month and twenty-eight days 'til graduation, thank-you!)

Well, I'm back!
Oh my gosh! I had such a great weekend! Totally awesome and amazing. I'm going to tell y'all all about it as soon as I get a chance (currently I'm suppose to be doing research for an econ project, yeah right). Ah, 'nother tid-bit, I've just discovered (for myself) OH MY GODDESS, fun stuff! Found it in my school library, now I just need to get my greasy paws on the second one. Yes, my school library carries some manga and several graphic novels. Now I shall go before the teacher comes over and spazes over me not doing what I'm 'suppose' to be doing. Cheers.

Temporary parting
Whelp, I'm a leaving today for the annual State Youth Conference. Going tonight, staying all day Saterday, and coming back sometime Sunday afternoon. *sigh* It will be enjoyable, although I'm going to go practically insane without the capability to check my e-mail. This should be a good year, even though APeX won't be at the conference *pouty face*, I just love those guys. So, in honor of them, I'm wearing their t-shirts three days in a row! :) On an even brighter side, I'll be able to call my Dance Partner 'cause he's going to be in town for spring break (lucky bugger's a college student) and talk to him for the first time in about a year. Just got a letter from him two days ago. Feel guily for not mailing the three letters I have in my room for him yet, oh well. I'll just give it to him in person. Have a good weekend y'all. Cheers.

Fa la la la la la
Hmmm, today has been an okay day. Let's see, what should I say. Sam: "Pink was on your site the other night!"
Oh, that's right *hee hee* Ain't he the greatest? Blah, I've just had a crush on him for about two years and stuff, he's coming with me to the Military Ball.
Fred: "Spaz."
Abosolutely.
Sam: "Don't forget Batman."
Fred: "I thought it was Bruce."
Sam; "No, we decided that the codename was Batman."
Fred: "Nu-uh!"
Sam: "Yu-huh!"
Shut-up. *grins* That's right! He's adorable. And I went on a date with him Friday! *Cheshire grin* We saw HIDALGO, it was great, Batman's (Sam: "Told ya so") the most adorable guy in the world and he's so sweet.
Fred: "What she means to say is that she's a sucker for a romantic."
He said "Wouldst thou go out with me?" *doink* And he's in "The Wedding Proposal" just like I am. 'Cept he's playing the guy asking for the hand in marriage and I'm playing the father. Must work on Texas accent, oh, that a post in of itself.
Sam: "You never let us finish the story about Imp and Catt."
Ergh, no I didn't. *sigh* Okay really short version: after first round this guy goes "Hey!" and starts talking to me, we bond, after second round this chick joins us (my mate Ecila was with us by this time)and there is more bonding. At the end of the day I have two new e-mail address and friends and have actually been e-mailing them like the obsessive freak that I am.
Fred: "It was so much cooler than that thoug"
Yeah, well I don't think I can rehash it all at the moment. And why are you goes so verbose all of a sudden? Huh? You leave me high and dry for practically a year and now you're jabbering away to me all the time!
Sam: "We felt like it."
Fred: "We also came to the realization that you won't write our story anytime soon and and had become bored with the silent treatment."
*guilt trip* I'll try to work on it this weekend whilst at the State Youth Conference, alright.
Sam: "Sure."
Fred: "Whatever."
*even bigger guilt trip*
What else have I done recently? I went to Spartenburg with Boy to watch "The Foreigner", my favorite play. I reduced myself to tears last night from spazzing over not finding the information I needed for my science project for physics (two major test grades) and if I didn't find it I would have the major possiblity of flunking the semester and therefore bring the year grade down to either a D or an F and thereby dropping my GPA and not graduating with honors and being a failure and see disappointment in my mother's eyes every time I look at her and feeling like a horrible person. (Yes, those were the thoughts running through my mad little mind last night which caused me to start crying, until Peck was nice enough to search my room for me and find the information I needed [I'd picked the stuff up and kept moving it without realizing what it was, if it was a snake it would've bitten me]). So that was last night. Today I've brough procrastination to an even greater art form by finishing the report for physics during my first block class. *hurblah* Way more stress than I have ever wanted.
Aargh! Prom tickets are costing 40 bucks this year! Can you believe it? What do they think we are, billionares? There's still the outfit, the transportation, and oh yeah, only the most important part, the food! Stupid prom commitee won't get off their lazy bums and do something. Have we had any prom fundraisers whatsoever this year? No! My freshman year, seniors got into prom free. This year they're making us pay $40, outragous. I'm not going to have any money come summer and I'll have to starve when I go to Greece (my major b-day present from the family). Well, I guess that's enough rambling for now. I'll let y'all get on with whatever lives you may have at the moment (may it be less stressful than mine.)

Guess Who's on my site?
Sam: Is it who i think it is
Fred: in-du-bit-ably
Irish: *spazzing*
Sam: Oh, yeah it's most definately him
Fred: *laughing at Irish*
Irish: shut-up, I'm just a poor obsessed dork
Sam: Do you remember all that stuff you said about him?
Irish: *panic* What stuff? I didn't say any stuff!
Fred: *keeps laughing at Irish*
(if y'all can't figure it out, I'll tell y'all tomorrow)

And now, for the Weekend Post
"Greetings"
'Salutations'
"We're happy to have you here today for the Weekend Post. I'm Sam"
'And I'm Fred'
"And we're here to give you the scoop on what happened to Irish last weekend. Fred, how 'bout you start 'em up with Friday.'
"Thanks, Sam. Well, last Friday was the Winter Jam, a Christian Rock concert hosted by Newsong and included the appearance of Reliant K. Also appearing for a short time was a marvolous illusionist.'
"Whilst bopping to the beat, Irish ran across several people that she knows. One, the bigger little brother of Lupismaris. Two, River who was kind enough to give her a big hug."
'Let's not forget the fact that she scared the be-geezes outta the the guys who were with her at the concert by calmly (and inconspiciously) walking behind them in the lobby and tapping them gently on the shoulder.'
"Then turning around and laughing uproariously when they jumped 'bout twenty feet in the air and spun around in unadulterated horror and suprise."
*pause* 'Riiiight. Anyways, once Irish reached home she was delighted to find a package that had been delivered to the house for her only ten minutes after she for sup before the concert. Upon opening it she discovered that the box containted'
"Dun-dun-duuuuuuuuun!"
'Her prom shoes. Yes, the knee-high, (patent leather?) female pirate boots that she will be wearing to prom. In all their glory.'
Okay guys, get off the computer.
"What?! Irish *heh heh* what are you doing here?"
Fixing to type up my story, that's what.
"Ah, nuts!"
'And now for a commercial interium. Feel free to check out the friend's webpages that you see on the left until further update.'
"'Please, leave a contribution in the little box.'"
Goblins *rolls eyes*
