*tired et happy*
Well, just got back from my last debate today. Placed third. Really proud of myself for that (especially since my last). Met two really cool people, Catt and Imp (no, those aren't their real names)and so I'm just "Whoo-hoo!" *happy dance, singing "Yellow Submarine"* I'll write another post about how the debate and all went hopefully tomorrow, right now I just want to eat, shower, and sleep. So, I'm off. :)

Just a bit of 'blah, blah, blah, yakety-schmakety'
Yes, I watched Tasmania when I was a kid before they put stupid shows on the regular stations. No, I do not have cabel nor satellite. I do, however, have current possession of the David Bowie-ite's complete Cowboy Bebop DVDs that I'm going to rot my brains out watching as soon as I get done with all this stuff I need to do for school and scholarships. Spike, Spike, Spike, Spike, Spike!
Argh! No! I do not have a baseball team! Nor a rugby team! Deny, deny, deny! Grrr. Stop saying it, it isn't true! Leave me alone!
(Sorry, had to get that outta my system)
The Drifters are awesome. Gotta listen to them today, came to school to put on a little performance for us for the end of African American awarness month. Something really sad, I was able to sing along with every song they sang. Yes, Irish likes the oldies.
Random question: are black people in the UK African Americans? See, I ask this because to be politically correct, all people with dark skin are to be called "African American" instead of "black", but that's an ethnicity not a race. So why do we call it a race? So what do you do when your in another country and you come across someone who is a resident of said country and of African heritage, call them African American? Am I the only person who thinks of these things? Eh.
Well, there's only two months and (app) twenty days 'til graduation. I can make it. Then head for Greece June 7th! Yahoo!
Irgh, gotta go to a debate tomorrow. It's in Charelston at Bischop England High School. On the bright side, I don't have to go to work. On the down side, I still have to get up at seven in the morning. On the bright side, I might get to see the Confessor. On the down side, he's not sure if it'll work. Blah. *iaghit* (the only proper responce to blah.
Well, I'm over my short bout with melancholy. My story was not accepted. But I shall try again.
Oh! Lunch! Time for a PB&H sandwich! :)

The Passion
Saw the movie last night, cried through the whole thing. It has got to be the most Beautiful (no, I don't mean aesthetically pleasing) film I've ever seen. Grown men were still weeping ten minuetes into the end credits. The first time in my life when I've gone to a theater and have it silent at the end of a film. If you get a chance, go see it. It's wort the 2 hrs 15min and $7. For me, it was like...hmmm...I wrote an e-mail last night telling my friends about it that took up way much space. Leave it to say that I can't truly describe it. Suum cuique. You'll get something outta it one way or another, I believe.

Happy Mardi Gras everyone!
So, it's Mardi Gras. Everyone get out your beads and masks. Have a party. Eat red meat. Drink wine. Have fun. Here in Columbia I'm slaving over school work and looking forward to dance class. In New Orleans they're partying like mad people afore Lent puts a temporary end to it all.
Speaking of Lent, anyone going to go see "The Passion" tomorrow? Me, I'm going at eight thirty with The Guys, Dad, and sibling NO. 1. Mom put me on a massive guilt trip when she found out I didn't reserve a ticket for her. Oooh, so bad. But I'm looking forward to it, all in Latin! Whoo-hoo! Major extra credit for class. Fun stuff.
Okay, off the religious/holiday topic. Freaky dreams the past two nights. 'Scuse me, three. I think my subconcious is trying to tell/warn me of something but I'm only getting some of it. 1) Blood covered underclothing and it making since, must chill on the vampire stuff perhaps.
2) Id seems to be in trouble that I'm not aware of and she needs help. True, or just worry?
3) Should not embaress evil person in front of friends because revenge isn't worth it. (that one I understand, obviously)
4) A really deep and forgiving and pure relationship after knowing the guy for less than twenty-fou hours. Where did this come from? Why did he have dirty blonde hair? Why was I actually able to SEE him clearly and still remember him?
Yes, NO.4 is causing the most thought right now (which was last night's dream, as NO. 3). Usually don't have relationship dreams like that. All in depth and I can remember most all clearly. Note to self: write them all down before forget. Well, class starting, TTYL.

Woo for the weekends!
(stupid thing won't let me change font, argh).
Yea for me, had a wonderful 'blah' weekend. Working Saturday morning (babysit for four hours in a nursery), come home and surf the web for some scholarship applications, find out I now have a scholarship to USC (the Carolina one, not the California one) *much happiness*, then go babysit some more.
Oh, gotta do a quick back track. Forgot about Friday. Skip to the evening. It was opening night of M*A*S*H*, wonderful wonderful. The David Bowie-ite had a part and was the very first person you saw, screaming into a telephone. And, best of all Beetlemaniac got pictures of...*dum dum Dum!*...the guy who was quasi stalking me in a dress! *evil chortle* Yes my friends, Irish is going to get her hands on those pictures and figure out how to post them, somehow on her webpage. Even if it means me getting David Bowie-ite to turn them into anime, just so you all can see the guy in a nice black sequini dress (and he wore a red one, and a green one with a shaw [that he had to have cut off Saturday night, I found out. But lots of things went wrong Saturday night for the cast, id est Radar having a nose bleed during one scene], and a yellow polka dot one [which may have been a skirt]). But it was great. Seeing guys dressed in hulas is always fun, especially when they have nice chests.
Back to Sunday. Woke up at seven oh five which irked me, 'cause Sunday is the only day for me to sleep in. Went back to bed and woke up every fifteen minutes until eight forty-five when I finally got up and took a shower. Got dressed in all black plus Johnstone tartan with Celtic necklace (believe the pattern is suppose to be 'saving grace')and Celtic knot earrings to go to First Presbyterian Church to say "the Lord's Prayer" in broad Scot. Then catch a ride with my friend, got to Mass late, saw Pink (*spaz*) during Eucharist, went home for about two hours, went to a Senior Server meeting, went home for an hour, then went to CYM. Basically I spent my whole day working on church functions.
Who all's going to go see 'The Passion'? I am! Yes! Friend was able to reserve tickets for myself, 'lil sister #1, and Dad (Mom was none too pleased to find out I hadn't asked for a ticket for her, but said not to worry about it since we'd've had to find a sitter for the other two, major guilt trip)to go see it Ash Wensday at eight thirty. Fun stuff.
Well, that's all for now. Prolly post something else during orchestra today. Cheers.

The Sandman: The Dream Hunters
Oh my gosh!!!! This book is sooooo amazing, awesome, cool, superb, exquisite, ect. ect. ect.!
Written by Neil Gaiman (gotta love him) and illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano (nothing needs to be said about him, words do not fit his genius, yes, he Is the Vampire Hunter D illustrator for the novels), this graphic novel is brilliance.
My heart was weeping for the art work, every page a vibrant splendor of soul.
The King of All Night's Dreaming could be Jareth the Goblin King in looks, just make it black hair and give him a raven for an owl. Gorgeous.
One last thing, second to last page (pic of King of All Night's Dreaming and raven)I was reading and feeling my heart crying and suddenly "Fields of Gold" by Sting started resounding in my head. Specifically, the lines: "I don't make promises lightly/and there are some that I have broken/but I promise you that in the days still left/we'll walk in fields of gold." Significant? For some reason it seems so (love the song, beautiful song). Well, that's all for now. Gonna try to pick up some manga. Cheers.

Whoo for Fencing
Nothing better than wearing yourself to the bone at night. :)
Good day today. Found out a friend of mine smells really nice. Sorta embarresed myself when he commented on how when girls always hug him they turn in and take a big sniff. I was like "But I didn't do that, did I?" and he goes "Yeah." I go red faced, and he laughs.
Turn ons: nice scent, smart, honesty, individuality.
You know what would be cool? (And basically impossible to do, but oh well) If all us myotaku members were able to have a huge get together somewhere and we could all be like: "Whoa, you're that dude who rights that awesome stuff?" and "Your the chick who draws those great pics!" But I'm just weird like that. *imagines the whole thing, evil grin alights face* But boy, wouldn't that be fun?
Well, I haven't done any homework and it's really late, so I guess I should get going. Blargh. Talk to y'all later.

The answer to life, the universe, and everything. *listens to resounding silence* Douglas Adams!!!
Okay, I had an interesting night last night. According to Baby Penguin I don't have as much of a life as he does because I haven't had experiences. I'm like no, I've Lived, I've had experiences and got a lot outta 'em. Then he's, yeah you've done stuff but that's spice not the meat. Later on, he contradicted this statement, but I only realized this after his phone died. I spent about one-two hours last night trying to give him/prove to him my view point on what Life is, asking for his, and him refusing to give me his because I haven't proved my point. (I had the urge to smash my head into a wall for a very long time. Up to and including laying in bed waiting for sleep to over take me.) So, right when we're actually getting somewhere (my believing that what you ARE is Life not what you do) his phone went and died very loudly in my ear. Aargh.
But, this was actually in response to something else. One of his best friends called me b/cs she broke up with her boyfriend (another of Baby Penguin's best friends) and needed someone to commiserate with. So we talked about what total asses both Baby Penguin and the other could be. It was odd.
(Jumping outta order) Then, after I got off the phone with Baby Penguin, I went on-line to IM. The person who I really wanted to talk to wasn't there, but Pink (you know, the guy I'm major crushing on and my littlest sister embarressed the heck out of me in front of three hours earlier) was and so we started chatting. Now I'm likely to randomly get a Jimmy Hendrix CD because although I know who he is, I don't completely Get who he is. I have a habit of falling for musical fanatics. (Plaid Avenger being the forerunner of all musical fanatics, I swear).
Well, now Magistra's in her classroom, so I can leave here, go over there, and do my English homework that I blew off last night to talk to people on the phone.
May all of you have a good day (it's supposed to get up to 60F today! Warmth! *much happiness*)
