Good-bye! Vale! TTFN!
Well, I'm off to Greece! ^_^
Leaving tomorrow bright and early! No, not really. We're leaving at eleven to pick up Boy and then we're headed to the Charlotte airport (NC) to meet the rest of the group. It's the bi-annual Latin Club trip. Last time they went to Southern Italy, this will be the first time we head to Greece. I only know about four other people really well, out of about twenty. It's going to be interesting. I'll be back on the sixteenth with a travel journal filled with adventures.
On to other things.
Window pane thought for the month:
"Just a thought: Life is only what you put into it" - Nobody
Thursday was my first day back at fencing for a month! Praise heavens. It was great to be back. Got a blister on my hand from not holding my foil for so long.
Friday I was working on the refreshment commity for my cousin's wedding, which was yesterday. It was a nice, simple backyard wedding with pleasant people and good food. My cousin looked absolutely lovely and her (now) husband was the epitome of calm collectedness.
I've read CALVIN AND HOBBES to my little heart's content this week. An idea struck me, and if it succeed y'all'll hear about it in a few weeks (I hope.)
Ah, the fist class for THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS (C. S. Lewis) was today. My daddy taught it. Went very well. We only briefly covered the first letter (hey, we only had an hour) and I'll be missing the next letter seeing as I'll be out of country.
Finally, here's some lines from an old movie. See if y'all can figure it out by the time I get back. Kodo's for those who can. Very happy, just found it the other day, we've been looking for it for awhile.
"They've killed Fritz! They've killed Fritz!" Not enough? Okay, how about: "Master love Larry. Master feed Larry." Have fun.
Valete omnes! I'll write when I'm back! ^_^
