Well, I have time before school's out to do my homework and write something down, so I shall. I think I'll make it a little story time. Just so y'all can get to know me. Let's see...who can I talk about?
The Confessor:
I really wanted to go to the Scottish Games down in Charleston, let's see it was...um...going on three years ago, so I went down with one of my dance teachers to spend the night with her at a friend's house. Had to do this b/cs my mom and sisters weren't coming down to Charleston 'til the day of the dance, which was in the evening, and I'd miss the games which were in the morning.
So, I have all my clothes packed and books ready for reading. Now, I knew the friend had a daughter who did Highland dancing. I mistakenly thought that she was her only child.
So I walk in through the hallway, something catches the corner of my eye, and I turn my head to the left and see this good looking black haired guy hunched over the computer typing. Very first thought: "Oh! I didnt' know she had a son!"
This was around late afternoon, early evening. I sat at the kitchen table and started reading. Supper was served a little later, I ate with the mother and father. Go over to the bookshelf and pick up "The Authoritative Calvin and Hobbes" and start reading that. Now the son had walked through the kitchen a couple of times but I was too shy to say anything.
Finally, at eleven o'clock at night (I had my watch) whilst he's walking by me I look up, buck up my courage, and say "Salve." (pro: sawl-way Latin, means 'hello') He goes: "What?" And thus started an eight hour conversation that had me walking on the roof, discussing anime, Star Wars, telling the whole history of my life, all the problems I was having, and giving him my e-mail address. (I also didn't sleep for forty-eight hours, which ment I was really crabby on the way home from the dance and after party when I couldn't take a shower like I wanted to at three o'clock the next morning and had to wait for my sisters to take one first.)
Thus started a beautiful friendship. We exchange e-mails lots and he always gives me a shoulder to cry on.
So yeah, there's the background info to one person you'll probably hear about. The other persons I'll talk about I'll tell you later. 'Course if you want to find out about writerashle you can just go to her webpage. Well, need to go do Latin homework so I don't have to walk home with an extra twenty pounds on my back (the accumulation of going on four years worth of notes).
