The Plaid Avenger
Ah, today is a good day. I've gone about just feeling sorta 'blah'or 'hurblah'. You know, just sorta floating. Which is really good for the past weeks or so I've just been 'irgh'. *sigh*
I trust most everyone had a decent Valentine's and nothing to awful happened. Sunday was a good day, fave day of the week. Mostly 'cause it's the only day I'm guarented to be able to sleep in. Sleep is good.
Okay, right, about the subject. Another story about people/friends that I know.
The meeting of the Plaid Avenger:
I'm fifteen. Have a huge vampire encyclopedia that's abt seven hundred pages I'd borrowed from the library. And my violin and my backpack. I struggle inot the ROTC underclassman room, arms swollen with stuff (obviously) and see these two guys in front of the trophy case. I only truly notice one.
Long dark brown hair, tweed jacket, Marvin the Martian t-shirt, brown corderoys, and black steel toed boots. He was holding a trophy.
Truth: the very first thought in my head "What are you doing in My ROTC room?"
Obviously didn't say that. But I put my stuff down and went to the Baby Penguin (this was before we started dating, he was just one of my squad members at the time)and was like 'who deez guys?'
Started talking to the cute, long haired guy. Introduced himself as "The Plaid Avenger", which was the same thing that was on his visitors pass. Turns out he is a Dreher et ROTC et Drill team (major flash jealousy) alumnus.
So, instead of having an Academic Team meeting we all just stood around and talked, compared scars, found common interests, were thrown outta the room 'cause we weren't studying. You know just fooled around.
At the end of all this, he gave me his e-mail address and thus started an interesting (to say the very least) relationship.
I could go on, but that was just the meeting. If I remember correctly, he has a bio page. Hmmm, may add a link to that once I'm at home and not at school and have access to stuff like that (stupid Bess, deserves to die. Won't let me onto any good sites. ergh.)
Only three months and four days until graduation! Not that I'm looking forward to it or anything, I'm just manically excited that I no longer have to stay here and take annoying classes that are needed to graduate that I have no interest in (i.e. gov/econ).
So, enjoy your day today. Have fun. "...eat your cereal with a fork and do your homework in the dark." - Mark/Harry, Christian Slater, 'Pump Up the Volume'
