Quiet songs of contemplation
I've been on vacation this past week. It has been wonderful to go to sleep when I'm tired and wake up only when I'm not tired any longer. I hate alarms. I've been able to spend hours with Batman and just revel in his company.

Time is an odd thing. We keep moving forward, yet we remain in the same place. The faster we move the more still we remain. Sometimes, if we move slowly everything moves. Sometimes, while we stand still others remain standing yet move away at the same time. Much is lost and can't be recovered and yet is never truly gone. *sigh*
