Procrastination and Confession
Procrastination: I am manically avoiding doing my history paper. I don't like the subject, don't feel comfortable about writing it, and don't think it really has any historcal value to it (it's a bloody opinion paper for crying out loud!). So, I'm going to my favorite author's pages, blogging, messaging, and otherwise avoiding what I have (haven't) learned about the Great Depression this past semester.
Confession: I actually enjoy romance novels. Well, actually, no ... I enjoy specific kinds of romance novels. I don't go for the Harliquin stuff, but more for the horror / supernatural / magic really-amazing-plot-lines-and-sex-is-just-icing-on-the-cake kind of stuff. Namely: Karen Marie Moning. I just finished DarkFever and I'm about to start foaming at the mouth because it's just the first of a five book installment and the world is about to undergo an apocalypse and the main character doesn't even realize that she really likes someone yet! *argh*
Also, Zero Louise is an awesome little anime. It hasn't come out over here yet (if I'm correct in my assumptions), but it's a delicious little piece. More saving the world and romance. Huzzah!
Um, I believe that's all for the moment. I would wax poetically about my philosophical theories on art but I need to do the bloody paper and don't really have the time to do something that complicated (I know y'all are disappointed about that) ~_~*
