   Love truly conquers all
So... here's the story... When we weren't together, I made the effort to be friends with her. I let her know that, when she was ready, I was there to talk. A while later she texted me saying that she was ready. I called her and we talked about what we were doing lately and things like that. She said she was ready to be friends.

Some time later, I was talking with her over the phone on one of my lunch breaks at work. I had heard a guy's voice in the background so, me being the jealous type, I asked her who it was. I proceeded to ask whether or not she liked him or something of the sort, but she told me she didn't, that she was confused. I asked how come and she says she still loves me, but she's confused.

I was excited, but also disappointed at the same time because I didn't really understand what she meant by that. So, I asked what she meant by that and she said she didn't know. I told her that I still loved her, but it remained her decision. In the end of the conversation, she decided it would be best that, for now, we remain friends to see how it would go.

Some time later, I was texting her on the phone. We were talking about normal stuff and I had made the comment that work sucked that day (more so than just the usual). She asked me why, but I wouldn't say. She threatened to pout, but I told her that it only worked on me when she was actually in person (when she pretends to pout, I cave on everything...I know, I'm weak...but it's just so damn adorable ^^x ). She tells me that if I don’t say, I’ll regret it later. At first, I didn’t know what she meant by later, so I decided to just tell her. Work sucked because of all the Valentine’s Day decorations. It reminded me that I didn’t get to spend Valentine’s Day with the woman I love. I didn’t get a text back from her after that.

I went back to work even more disappointed than before, assuming that I had said something she didn’t want to hear. It was later that I turned to look down the aisle, and I saw her. She came to see me at work like she used to. I asked what she was doing here and she just sort of shrugged her shoulders with a small smile.

When I went on my lunch break, we walked around the store together. I put my arm around her as we walked, praying that she wouldn’t be angry that I did as such. She leaned her head against my arm. I later asked if this meant we were back together. She smiled and told me that I should’ve figured that out by now, considering the fact that she spent the night with me at my work. I was so happy. She stayed until I was off work at 11 pm.

I walked with her out to her car and she opened her car door to turn the heat on, but she didn’t get in. We hugged each other for a while standing there in the glow of the nearby lamp post. When we kissed, it was like I got to fall in love with her all over again…
