Bonjour, tout le monde!
You found me!
Welcome to my refuge of insanity! I'll be posting quite a few of my poems and writings (the non X-rated ones ~_^), and I really appreciate feedback!
I'm a high school student, so I've lost a great deal of sanity, so bear with me. I really love making friends, and it's definetly a sign of the Apocalypse if you ever catch me fighting (I just take Taekwon-do to stay in shape).
Music is my LIFE! I used to be in a *sotra* band (as a rock violinist) until our lead guitarist had to go find himself, and now I'm taking guitar lessons from him, and I hope to start up my own band at some point, but until then, I'm playing violin on the streets for extra cash, which is really quite fun.
Anyway! Enjoy reading my randomness!
Caio! (That's not French, I know)

Save the world! (or at least part of it) woot!
Yay! I just got off the phone with the Salvation Army and they gave me the info I needed to send the money I raise with my friends to the S.A. so they can use all of it to help the hurricane victims. I'm starting the fundraising on October 3rd, so wish me luck please!

I think I was high on incense
Inspired by my work at Celtic Moon!!!
One Day…
Around three, I was still cleaning the display case with the crystals, stones and tarot cards. Rather tedious work, although I enjoyed working with the crystals. My hair was thrown into a messy French twist with a chopstick from my lunch. I had finished dusting the glass and used packing tape to pick up the lint off the velvet where the crystal balls are kept and was carefully placing the quartz in neat rows, directing the energy flow out toward the store. Kat taught me to do that one day. The sulfur stones intrigued me because it was the only crystal I knew of that was not only appealing to the eyes, but the nose as well. Feeling rather ridiculous, but as though I could not go about my day without sniffing that rock, I looked around cautiously and faced away from the counter scattered with wands, hemp bracelets and crystal balls. There were no customers to seen and I was working by myself. The spiky yellow weight in my hand seemed to say, sniff me…I smell like rotten eggs. It’ll be fun! One last time I glanced around, smiled faintly then brought it up to my nose and took in a deep inhale. It smelled…like rotten eggs, but still for some reason I felt a stupid grin spread across my face as I took another inhale.
“Jade…what in the Lord’s name are you doing…?” asked a male voice from behind me. I nearly dropped the sulfur. For a moment without looking I tried to figure out who it was. Jeremy? Some regular customer of the shop? I spun around to face the unknown male and almost dropped the sulfur again when I realized he was anything but unknown to me. He seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. Our eyes met as he just stood there with a curious smirk on his face in front of the counter. I blinked, and then found my words again.
“So. The first time I see you in months and you catch me smelling a yellow rock…”
“Figures, huh?” We both stood in silence for a moment, then I held the sulfur out to him
“It smells like rotten eggs. Wanna sniff?”

I cleaned my room today! It may not seem to exciting, but for someone who spends most of her homelife there, it is.
Things I found:
-My favorite pen
-An Un-used notebook
-That I really don't need 27 nail polishes
-Kitty litter from when my cats were kittens and staying in my room
-A colonie of dust bunnies in the void between the bedframe and the wall
-Old journals
-A couple candles
-Handcuffs
Also, I sprained my ankle in the process. I was talking to my friend Scotty and said I wish I would have sprained it doing something heroic, then he added that cleaning my room really was quite a heroic act indeed. Good point.

Good morning!
Life is good. Celery soda and Samurai Saturday on IFC (good movie channel. Check it out!).
Anyway, here is one of my poems. Most of them are inspired by the chaos of my and the lives of my friends at Coeur d' Alene High School.
Their Curse
She cursed herself.
Forever she will be trapped there
in his arms, so sure, that
nothing could harm her there…
except what she thought
would always protect her.
Damned to her imaginary
refuge of false comfort.
She knows. She’s perfectly aware
of the cold world outside this
place she created.
Too afraid to let go of him
afraid of not knowing.
Ashamed. She is a burden.
He duplicated her pain to
Carry it with her. She is glad
for her security, guilty for the
pain he doesn’t need to bare.
So she kills the demon haunting them
with her omnipotent weapon
happiness.
The cold world outside she feared
now seems brighter. She’s killed
her pain, and the pain he had taken
on himself. Shattered, melted into
healing warmth.
The curse is broken,
they can breathe again.
