I need an idea for a story with a patriotic, historical, evangelistic, biblical, or Christian growth theme to it. I'm entering a short story in a competition for my school and need to write it before Feb. 11. I haven't even gotten started yet. If anyone has any input, I WANT IT!!!

I just found out what my singing outfit looks like. It's a black peasant/broomstick skirt with a teal silk shirt. The shirt is hideous. Good color, though. It has long sleeves that end in cuffs which are too tight to push up, and when you unbutton them they're too loose to do anything with. I loathe it. So does everyone else who has to wear it. The style doesn't even match the skirt- points are going to be taken off for not matching. (You can get a total of 100 points- for the sound of the song, loudness, appearance, and the degree of difficulty of the song.) We are so going to lose.
