Chapter 19

Aki was looking for Suki. He had checked everywhere he knew she went. The park was the first place he looked, checking to see if she was under her favorite oak tree. She wasn't there. But then he saw a T.V. Shop that had the news on. It said someone had caused a flash fire in the middle of nowhere, and that the police were stumped. Aki wasn't though, he knew exactly who had caused it. He stormed over to a gas station, found directions to her, and ran out. He didn't even know what he was going to say once he saw her again, he just knew he had to look at her face one more time before he gave up.

Little did Aki know, he would not find her at the fire. Kuro would have been amazed if he found her at all. She was sitting in his thrown, wearing his crown, ruling Hell. She was the new leader, seeing as she was now more powerful than he was. Kuro despised that fact. He was a proud person, and being ruled by ANYONE, let alone a woman, was degrading. He sighed. In his mind, a battle was raging *No, i can't think like that. I should be happy that she accepted my offer...But maybe I offered too much...No! Her love is worth it! But then again...* He snapped back into real life when he heard, "Kuro, come over here." Kuro jumped on his feet like a little dog and sprinted over to Suki's feet. He bowed down and said, "Yes, my liege?" Suki smiled, she liked the way that sounded. "Go and tell the demons that they will have there war, and that they will win. We need all of them as happy as possible, so get them anything they ask for. Do you hear me? Anything! Women, Men, Beer, Food, I don't care! Get them anything they ask for!" Suki stood up, and her smile only grew. "For tonight, we are going to have a hunt. If Aki thinks I have forgotten about him, he is about to find out how terribly wrong he is. Get your best men, Aki will not go down easy, but I think that the element of surprise will help even the battle a little."

Aki was still blinded by his rage. He opened the door to the apartment, and just as he did a large man punched him in the stomach. He thrashed him against the wall, and closed the door. Aki looked around. There, he was staring at 5 demons. They had found the apartment! But how? As Aki scanned the room.. There was Suki, wearing a blackened crown. She was sitting on a thrown like chair. He saw her smirk a little. Then, in desperation, he started to sing.

"Suki, my Suki, I love you so
Suki, my Suki, Please never go
Suki, my Suki, If you leave me
Suki, my Suki, Never again will i sing
Accept my love and it wont go away
Suki, my Suki, Be mine today..."



It was a lullaby he had made for her, and he would sing it to help her go to sleep. He cocked his head up, and looked at her. His chest was being slowly crushed in, but the demon had stopped once he started to sing, because Suki had ordered him to. Suki looked back and sung;

"Aki, my Aki, I accept your love,
Aki, my Aki, please be my pure dove,
Aki, my Aki, I will never hide,
Aki, my Aki, in you ill confide,
Aki, my Aki, protect me always,
Aki, my Aki, and ill be yours today..."

Aki saw the tears well up in Suki's eyes, and ran over to comfort her. She then said, "Here! Take the crown of Kuro and give it back to him! I don't want it anymore! Take the thrown, take everything! All I want is my Aki back!" Aki pulled her in close, and embraced her. "All I wanted to tell you is that Yuku tr--"Aki was cut off mid sentence by Suki kissing him. "I don't care about what you and Yuku did anymore, I know I can trust you." Suki said as she pulled her lips off of Aki's. "I thought you would fear me if I had more power than you, so I accepted Kuro's offer. I thought that your fear was better than nothing from you... I am so sorry!" She leaned in and started crying again. "Its ok sweetly, I understand." Aki ran his fingers through her hair. He then said, "Come on, I'll make us some tea, that always calms you down." They grabbed each others hands and walked into the kitchen, in love more than ever before.

"NO! THIS CANNOT BE!" Kuro punched the messenger demon in the face, breaking his nose and fracturing his skull instantly. He would have lived, had Kuro then not continued to punch him into the wall. The demon's face exploded on impact, and blood sprayed over the wall. Then there was silence, other than the "Klank-Clank, Ting!" of his crown hitting the ground, and the sound of the messengers carcass hitting the floor. "I will have my revenge Aki, you will learn not to tempt my hatred."
