Catching a Breath...
The week is over, thankfully. Wednesday, as you know, is never a favourite day of mine. It turned out okay, but it was still generally pretty annoying. As I walked to the train station near my school, it began to pour like a monsoon. As a result, I was soaked head to toe. I'd even avoided taking my jacket on Wednesday, assuming that it'd be fine (I mean, it was boiling hot even in the morning). Oh well. At least the rain cooled me down.
Thursday was pretty good, simply because it's an easy day. I have a lecture in the morning and an "Industry Issues" class afterwards. Each class is only two hours long though, so the time passes pretty quickly.
And Friday...well, I managed to miss my bus on Friday morning. I had work to hand in, which I did...but later than expected. Thankfully, I managed to actually get it there on the day. I'm expecting an A for this latest project, too. I put a lot of work into it.
I also received results for my last two essays, in my Aspects of Design class. I managed to get an A for both, which was nice. So far I've had an A with every piece of work in that class. I'm satisfied with that. ^_^;
Anyway, Friday was mostly annoying because I spent my entire time looking for a special store at Highpoint. Highpoint is like a giant, giant mall in the western suburbs, outside the city. I'd been to this store before, but never thought I'd return...so, I forgot where it was and I didn't remember the name. I've only been to Highpoint twice (including yesterday), so I am not too familiar with the place.
Anyway, I call this store "The Chibi Store". That's not its real name...but it suits. The store itself is basically like a giant Hello Kitty store. Everything inside is imported from Japan and you can buy literally anything with Japanese characters on it. Yes, they even sell Hello Kitty condoms there. I was tempted to buy some...but...I'll leave it for now. ~_^
Anyway, I couldn't find the store on Friday. No luck at all. So I ended up going elsewhere, to another similar store that was full of Pucca merchandise. At least, I think that's how you spell her name.
I was there because I wanted to buy a little something for my friend Hayley, who was having a few friends over to her house for dinner. It was her birthday at the beginning of the week, so she'd invited everyone from the class around. I ended up buying her a special Pucca bag as well as a CD case shaped like Pucca's head. It was a plushie CD case, too. I knew she'd use it, because she has billions of CDs in her room.
So, she was happy with that, which is good. I had a pretty good time at her place; her friends from Tasmania have the same warped sense of humor as her, which is pretty cool. ~_^

Anyway, I've still got a lot of work to do on the weekend...but at least I can relax a little here and there. It'll also be good to catch up with some people on AIM who I rarely see during the week.
