First Post & Ramblings
Phew, after all this time, I've started to actually edit this silly blog. I'm not sure what to write about though.
I guess I should start by telling you about school. I go to a school called Australian Academy of Design. It's a pretty funky little place, which sits by the Yarra River, which runs through the city. It's a lovely spot. Very pretty. ^_^
Anyway, I'm now in my second semester there. I'm doing a BA Graphic Design (Bachelor of Arts: Graphic Design). It's a three year, full-time course...so, it tends to take away a lot more time than I'd like. But, it's fun. This semester, we're doing different subjects to last semester. And now we seem to be doing a lot more theory than before.
For instance, one of our classes is called "A History of Graphic Design: 1850 - The Present", though it actually spans a longer time period than that...but anyway. We've got a really weird tutor for that class. I mean, weird in the sense that he's horribly boring and he makes silly jokes. >_<
The annoying part is, our class is all theory. So all he's doing is lecturing. And on top of that, he's the single most boring person I've ever met. He even talks slowly and repeats the same thing over and over...
"Uhh, what was I saying? Oh yes! Composition. There is nothing more important than composition. No matter what anyone tells you, you need to know that composition is very important...uhh...umm...yeah, so I was talking about composition? Yes? Okay. Yeah, so, composition is really important. I mean, really important. Did I say that already? Yes? No? I don't know. Anyway, composition..."
...and so on. >_<
Luckily, that's only a two hour class. Most are three hours at a time. So, I guess there's some relief in it.
Anyway, I guess that was the most boring blog post you've ever read in your life! So you might as well sign my guest book, if you've read this far. ~_^ |
