Back Again, Eh?
Well, here I am again, more or less.
I'm still approving fan art. I've been up all night, pretty much. Although it's actually been good, as I've been able to talk to some people who I normally can't speak to (because of the time difference).
I must say...I really wish people would stop sending in unoriginal art to Original Anime. Why? Because sometimes they send in really gorgeous art that I'd love to approve, but I can't. If I start approving unoriginal anime for that category, we'll have a mess later on. So if you guys really want to submit anime that we don't have a category for, I can only once again ask you to post your suggestions on OtakuBoards. Hopefully we can organize something when Adam returns.
Anyway, I've started to really find some amazing artists on here. Snow Fox is a good example; I love her art. And of course, there's Ginny too. Always great stuff. There was someone else that caught my eye too...shooting stars, I think. That member had a couple of gorgeous graphite pencil images submitted. One of them was Escaflowne in the Original Anime category, so I couldn't approve it. It's a shame though, because it was so lovely.
Anyway. I'm starting to know how Shy feels about Otaku Lounge. Those threads are getting more and more inane by the day! I think I'm going to have to step in and create some of my own now. I tried making one about Australia becoming a Republic (since there are so many Aussies on OB), but hardly any of them responded. That's weird. I thought that Cloricus would at least reply. lol
Oh well.
Wow, my first quiz. What an interesting result...I'd have thought that I'd come out as a black mage or something. *shrug* |
