"It's never enough."
Right now I am preparing for Kill Adam's second volume.
I haven't talked much about the specifics of the story, because a lot of that is soon to be revealed. The end of Volume 1 still has at least one big surprise left. A twist that some will love and some will probably hate. lol
But, Kill Bill has had similar twists (anyone who's seen KB2 will be aware of that). Although at this point, I am less and less inclined to compare the two...because Kill Adam's story has evolved differently. And my plans for the second volume are noteably different to Kill Bill's second volume. Mostly I think we're talking about similarities between styles/themes, more than anything else.
I've posted a little teaser poster in the art forum for Kill Adam: Volume 2. It might give you a hint as to what the second volume is about (and how the first ends up), if you can guess who the silhouettes represent. I really like the idea of using silhouettes rather than direct and deliberate photographs.
Also...if you can guess who those two people are, you may also work out who the two people are who are having converastions in prison, throughout Volume 1.
Although Volume 1 and 2 may seem somewhat different (and they are), the two are still fundamentally linked. And although Volume 1 does not have a linear progression, if you read both 1 and 2...a lot of things will become clear. Some of Volume 1's chapters will be revealed in Volume 2, for example. And Volume 2 will expand things significantly I imagine.
However, it becomes difficult because if I follow the Kill Bill line...then Volume 2 will primarily have characters from the first volume only (and no, or very few, new ones). I must change that, to give people the opportunity to sign up. But I haven't yet worked out how to fit that in with what we've done so far. So I'll see how that progresses.
Anyway, I think that the future for this story is bright. And I hope that everyone enjoys the direction it goes in, once Volume 1 concludes.
What about my Matrix RPG, you ask? It's still there. But...it's not ready yet. It needs more time and work. So, I am going to hold off on it for the time being. Reanimatrix is still live, afterall (and I have a couple of things I want to submit to it soon anyway).
Oh, while I am here; SaiyanPrincessX sent me a very pretty banner as a birthday gift. I wanted to publicly thank her for that, it was an awesome present. It's fantastic to receive a gift that someone has put some serious work into; very awesome. So thank you for that, Becky.
And thanks again to everyone for the birthday wishes. ^_^
