Off to work we go...
Wiork is awsome. I deal with all the production aspects such as call sheets, production reports, and updating them.

I now have 87 days worth of call seets and production reports to make and group together by friday. I've already got about 25 done, and that was in two hours.

So for the second day in a row I'll be in front of the computer. But hey, I love this job, how can I not?

How many people do you know can say that their boss allows them to get on AIM while working?

Mine does, so now you know one. They almost encourage us to get on AIM and talk with others in the building to help coordinate meetings and such.

I still haven't been able to get out to lunch.

Monday I was at the post office runnig an errend for my booss, so I missed lunch completely (it was tax day, woo-hoo*! (*sarcasm)). Yesterday someone parked right behind me and forgot to leave their keys with the garage manager, so they couldn't move the car.

But today, oh, the choices. Fatburger! A semi-rip off of In N' Out. I don't think you'll know of In N' Out if you live outside of California, but In N' Out has the best damn burgers you could ever want, and they also have a secret menu, so you can order all this stuff they don't list n their menu. It's really cool.

So where I work is right on Wilshire Blvd in the heart of Hollywood's Production area. Down the street, literally a few blocks down the street is the La Brea Tar Pits. So maybe I'll eat their today.

We'll see. But fun for me is 100% accurate.

I love my job. Do you?

Workin'
So right now I'm working as a Production ssistant for Mandaly Productions. The division I'm working with is working on a snowboarding documentary that will be released this September, and I get to help out!

Mostly it's the tedious work, like getting everyone coffee (which I get to get myself coffee as well, so it's cool, plus Idon't have people who order those twenty word long coffee orders), updating production reports and etc.

So I'm having a good time.

So Considerate
I went with a friend to see "Romeo & Juliet" tonight, and i missed the last 20 minutes of the play.

Why?

I fell asleep. I honestly fell asleep. As a fellow actor, I was embarrased.

Hey, it's not my fault that Shakespeare blows harder than a garden hose.

I'm an actor and I hate Shakespeare, isn't that strange?

Hows this for obsession?
I've been really bored in my Mass Media class, so I wrote essays concerning Digimon and ideas I have in my digimon story. Because I'm abored and need to occasionally let the nerd within out with a vengence.

Nerd and vengence in the same sentence? Amazing.

Well, I wrote two essays, one discussing an upcoming idea and the theories it creates within my story. I get highly technical, so make sure you have wikipedia handy when reading that.

The second essay I think will get more attention from fans of Digimon, as I wrote it to answer the debate that still rages over Digimon having genders. I give my answer and then state why this is and back it up with common sense.

So get ready for the last of the two. I'm sure it might not cause too much of a stir, but at least I came up with a good essay for once.

Now if only school would accept it.

I can still clearly hear the Champ Cars whizzing by me in my mind.

Long Beach Grand Prix - Practice
I was at it on Sunday. Watched just about every race there was. I'm a fanatic of racing. Any kind, but I don't like racing animals. I could care less which dachsund is fastest, but the weiner races are cool too.

But I digress and move right back onto topic.

Sunday was the day of the race. If any of you know it, they dub it "The 200mph Beach Party".

It is literally right along the beach. Well, about 400 feet away from it at it's closest point, but hell, that's close to the ocean none the less.

You couldn't have asked for better racing conditions that day. Literally perfect.

Me and my family arrived at a little after 9 a.m. My uncle Steve came along, as he is a veteran spectator of the Long Beach Grand Prix, dating all the way back to watching the race when it was Formula 5000.

Well, me and Uncle Steve both bolted away from my parents as we went through the ticket stalls. 9 a.m. was the start of Champ Car practice, and we both wanted to catch a glimpse. Where we entered, we went over a bridge which walked us directly over the back end straight-away in between turn 9 and turn 10.

This was now my first taste of Champ Car. The sound. The sound is what sticks with me the most. The roar of the engine is actually diluted out by the whinning of the tires. That signature whin of a F1, IRL or Champ Car is not the engine, but it is actually the tires.

I heard the cars coming from my right side and then heard them moving away on my left side in a matter of seconds. So i finally made my way with Steve over to the edge of the bridge and heard a car coming. I saw the blur of a car zip by and continue down the straight away. I learned that watching this kind of a car race on TV is a disservice. The cars may look fast on TV, but actually ebing there and watching them, the cars look to be in hyperspeed.

We looked down to the side of the course and saw that you could stand at the bottom of the bridge, so me and Steve took off. I was wondring who was moving faster, the Champ Cars or Steve?

At the bottom of the bridge, we got the full experiance. We could walk up to a chain link fence. Climbing the fence would get you right in front of a race official, so that was out of the question, plus I wouldn't do that anyway. But if you could hop the fence, you could walk about 10 feet, and you'd be right next to the barriers that mark the course.

The Long Beach Grand Prix is a Street Road Course, meaning that it is a Road Course (road courses are not ovals, ovals are superspeedways). But not just any road course,. it is one that is layed down on city streets. So for a week each year, all these streets in Long Beach are closed down, and the kings of speed are free to floor throttles.

So at the bottom of the bridge, the sound of the cars is amplified many times. So I'm standing there, and you can see all the way down to turn 9 and then all the way down to turn 10.

A Champ Car emerges from turn 9, and the driver slams the throttle. The car must have gone from 0mph to 60mph in less than two seconds. The turn was about 900 feet away, but within three to four seconds, the Champ Car was zipping past us. When he passed, it was a sound to hear and feel. You could feel the sound of the cars. It would travel through your body, tingling everything. Then the rush of air as it was pushed out of the way by the car zooming past. I continued to watch the car.

On the back straightaway the cars top out at 170mph, the second fastest portion of the course. The Champ Car went from 170mph to 35mph to enter turn 10 in less than 5 seconds, and was gone out of sight.

At that point, I wanted to be a race car driver very badly.

I have to say, this one experiance has left quite an impression on me to say the least.

More later.

Authorial Worries
How many authors we have in the house?

Okay, that was a pretty bad question, especially to ask over the internet.

I'm just a little worried. I'm afraid I might be losing readers of my story series, and I don't know what could be causing this, let alone if I am losing readers.

I did have quite a large number of readers for my story series original version, but this new one seems to have lost many of the old readers.

I think people expected my re-write to be very similar to the original version. It's actually the other way around.

With the original notes I took before I began writing, the re-write is actualy the most accurate version of the story. The original version I uploaded on ff.net followed my original notes for two chapters, and then rocketed away in a tangent.

I had a friend say that my writing has been becoming angsty. That's something I really think isn't happening, but my writing could be interpreted that way.

I've been in a pretty pessimistic mindset since Christmas, whih is pretty normal.

Usually I get happier as the months progress, finally reaching a peak in early June with my writing in full swing.

Strange.

I am still worried though as to what exactly is causing readers to trun away from my series.

"Digimon: Savers"
If I remember right, today was the premiere of "Digimon: Savers" across the lake in Japan. Yes, I refered to the Pacific as a lake. It's a bit big too refer to as a pond, and the Atlantic already has that title.

Is anyone like me and their body's internal clock thrown into madness with these damn time changes?
