I don't have much time, so i'm just gonna post the rough of what i had prepared for today, hope you can understand it. It's my theories on Leviathan so far:
(Leviathan's way of swallowing the sun, Draco the dragon)
Job 3:8 may be referring to the constellation Draco. In ancient times the sky was seen as a mirror image of the earth below. So the leviathan in the sea or nether world had a counter part in the sky, Draco who would swallow the sun or moon when there is an eclipse. (3:8 says) 3:8 Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning. (Leviathan is compared to Rahab) Some equate Rahab with the mythical sea monster Tiamat who was split open to make heaven and earth by Marduk (Job 16:12). (Leviathan is symbiotic to Tiamat) (another parellasion between Leviathan and Timat) God castrated the male and killed the female preserving her in the salt water for the righteous to eat in the world to come (Tiamat was the salt water, she might have been the lost female part of Leviathan) (Leviathan symbiotics: Naga, Yamata, Loch Ness Monster, Rahab, Tiamat, Yormungarde, Draco.) |
