Harlem - Letter to a Goth Girl
When i was going to this school, which i prefer to call the "hippie" school since i don't know what you'īd call it in english, i knew this girl who thought she was goth, who listened to Slipknot, Korn, Stonesour, Cradle of Filth and others... when i say "she thought", it's because she might be dressed in black, wear a lot of black makeup, be a loner (which she actually wasn't), write a lot of poems and say she know what Slipknot sing about... but when we listened to the music together and i asked her what she thought Corey meant when he sang "kneel down and clear the stone of leaves", she said it might be because he wants to be loved... i just sat staring at her... a wrong analyzis like that shows a lot, but there were a lot of other things, that said what she really wanted: to be with the outcasts only because she couldn't with the popular. But don't get me wrong here, she was one of the sweetest and funniest persons i've ever known and our whole "crew" (in lack of better) loved her... she just didn't have to try so hard to be something she wasn't.
I'm sorry, i don't even know why i tell you all this... just found the letter that i wrote to her and which she gave me back along with a hug and thanks, the day school was out. Thought since i needed to talk about something, i might as well get my thoughts off my mind, so thanks if you're still reading.
Oh yeah, i just wanna apoligize to a certain someone for using their name on my site, i really didn't know you felt that badly about it, i'm sorry.
