birthday fun
Well i've been kind of planning a birthday thing for my roommate. "kind of" because he really doesn't want to do anything with the "family." He wants to go out with his friends (who never call him or come over) for like the weekend before AND after his birthday. He was kind enough to set aside one friday for the three of us. And he isn't doing anything for his friends that don't do the party thing with him. I feel really bad because he has friends who would want to be with him and he doesn't want them over. I can understand him wanting a small thing for the family, but if he's going to celebrate with his "weekend friends" why doesn't he celebrate with his regular ones. Some of them, like my friend Alyssia, really care about him and never get to hang out with him because he won't make time. He was basically a 4 day weekend and he wouldn't stay for a couple hours to show a friend that he cares. It kind of pissed me off because its like his real friends don't matter anymore...but its his choice to make.

I just want to be a good friend to him, so i'm making his birthday as happy as possible. I guess he wants to go out to eat and i bought him a pie (he didn't want cake, i can understand people SANG at me for my birthday). It was yummy sounding so i grabbed it and he seemed to think it sounded good. Paul and I both gave him a present yesterday...and we are giving him one when we celebrate. The presents he already received were: a poster from me (bikini girl :P) and a set of pjs from Paul. The ones we are giving him later are a dvd from me (The girl next door) and a shirt from Paul. He should like them, he seemed to like the presents we've already given him.

Well i have loads to do this week, but i've been using spare time to get my reading done. I have a kind of good topic for my research paper...i hope he thinks it sounds ok. I'm having Alyssia over again on thursday and maybe tuesday as well, maybe J will stay back this time if i ask him. Probably not, since friday is when we are celebrating his b-day but hopefully soon, she was disappointed that he couldn't stay for a little while before.

Well thats all for now, I know it was a long update :) i will try to update more often this week so there isn't so much to catch up on

and i went shopping yesterday, some really cute close and cool movies were obtained... unfortunately no anime :(

btw has anyone heard of "Lady Death" because it sounds really good and i don't know whether to buy it or not...
