Chapter 2
Chapter 2: The Meeting
Revelations 21:4- “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death,
Neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be
Any more pain: for the former things are
Passed away.’
\ Sara walked into the library of the school. All of her friends had converted to Muslim. She then pulled out her Bible and started to read. “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him dent himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” ( Matthew 16:24) She then sighed. “Lord…I am trying to be a Disciple and it is very hard Lord. Please help me be strong….” she thought as she heard the door open of the library. “Shawn shut up! They will try and take mine too!” she heard a girl say. What were they trying to take from her? “Okay I can’t help it James is not here yet and yeah. He told me the teacher almost caught him with his Bible again.” Tara sighed. “He will be here. In my English class, there was another girl that got in trouble for a Bible and she told the teacher no. It was wondrous. Finally a person stood up for God.” she said as she walked past Sara. They did not see her Bible. Then James walked in. “Hey I am sorry I was late…the principal stopped me and search my book bag for my Bible. I had it hid…” Shawn then chuckled. “Oh did you hear about that girl?” James nodded. “I wonder who she is?” Tara and Shawn shrugged their shoulders. “Ummmm. Hello.” they heard someone say. It was Sara. “Oh hello….Who are you?” Tara said as she looked at her strangely. “I am Sara…the girl yons are talking about…” Their eyes then got wide. “Oh my gosh! I am so sorry! I am Tara and this is Shawn…” he then threw his hand up. “And this is my brother James.” He then took Sara’s hand and kissed it. “That was a wondrous thing you did in English class. It was about time someone took a stand for the Bible!” Tara said as she hugged her. “Thank you…..I thought I was the only Christian left in this school…” she said as she sat down with them. “On no dear. There is us. We are as they call us, “Jesus Freaks.” Sara sighed. “We take it as a good thing though cause we are freaks for Jesus! We are obsessed with him.” Shawn said as he smiled at her. James then looked at them worried. “Here comes the AP!” he said as he put his Bible in his book bag. Tara and Shawn done the same. Sara had put hers in her locker. “Hand me your Bible…” Tara said as she looked at Sara. She then handed it to her and watched her put it in her book bag. “What is going on over here?” the AP said as she looked at them. “Nothing Ma’m. We were just talking about that girl that got in trouble about having a Bible…” the AP then walked off. “That was too close for comfort…” Shawn said as he looked at them. “Yeah I know… here you go Sara. That is why you need a book bag with you at all times.” Tara said as she handed her Bible back. “Thanks Tara…” she said as she smiled at her. James then sighed. “We need a different place to meet. This is not working…” Tara nodded. “But where?” Shawn then looked at them. “We are so rude…. We have not told Sara a thing a bout us.” Tara then started to blush. “Well I will go first. I am Tara and this is my twin brother James. He thinks he is all that because he was born 10 seconds before me…” James then smiled. “I am my dear sister. As she said I am James. I was born 10 seconds before her. Therefore that makes me the eldest my dear Tara….” Tara then turned her back to him. “Tara turn the other cheek…” Shawn said as he looked at her sweetly. “Yeah…it says that in the Bible…” Shawn then smiled. “I am Shawn. No relation to these two. Thank Goodness. I am a Junior.” Sara smiled. “I am too. I bet you have all the girl after you?” he then chuckled. “No…they will not come around me. Anyways, I am waiting for the right Christian girl.” Tara then looked at the clock. “It is almost time for us to go home…” she said as she stood up and pushed her chair in. Everyone else done the same. “So are we meeting here tomorrow?” Tara and James nodded at Shawn. “Oh Sara, do you want to be in our group?” Sara’s eyes then lit up. “Sure.” Then the bell rang. “See you all tomorrow.” Tara and James said as they ran off. Shawn smiled at Sara. “I guess I will see you tomorrow?” Sara nodded. “God Bless Sara…” Sara nodded and walked off.
