yay...sorta
my free day again. have trumpet this week, so i dont get to sleep late. i really should have changed that to some afternoon. i shouldnt complain, if my schedule for next semester goes the way i want it to and i get the classes i want, ill have an 8 am class both semesters ><

didnt do anything productive yesterday. actually, i did my chem homework. i got it all right except for the last bit. not sure what i did wrong. i checked it several times. ill go find one of my chem major friends and force them to show me where i went wrong. but i am proud of myself, i got the wrong answer on one, and i figured it out. im horrible at chem, so this is an achievement.

no new art yet. liana and i have decided i need to draw hiei again, because he an awesome psycho demon. we cant find a good image to use tho. (i dont do too well drawing existing characters without reference) once i do that, i really am thinking seriously about doing all my characters/alter egos in one pic. just for humor and to show how crowded my mind is.

oh monday, you come to torment me again...
get the point by now that i hate mondays? alright, good. but this week will be good i hope. no tests, no papers, no chem. yay!

been drawing today. finished up the sketch from yesterday of my old character in her forge. it looks coooool. or should i say hot? *insert bad joke groans here* but honestly, i like it. lots of glowy fire things. and fun with fire light. and she looks even cooler drawn a second time. i may have to bring her back. *chuckle* i should have my various alter egos from over the years meet in one pic. that could be funny. have erialc, kita, inu and raevyn meet up. or maybe i just have one shape-changing alter ego. that would make my mind a less crowded place. i may have to draw that. i havent thought about most of them in a long time, not since inu appeared at least. in other art news, liana has requested *coughdemandedcough* that i draw my avi in all graphite. sooo ill do that to keep liana from killing me. some artists dont have much motivation to draw a lot. inu gets death threats if she doesnt draw something.

yeah, uneventful day. did nothing and enjoyed ever bit of it. so it was a good saturday.

finished up that drawing and started another. same character again. ive wanted to draw a character in a forge for the longest time, and since this character is a swordsmith, i did just that. it looks cool as a sketch and will look even better when colored. fire light and glowing metal against a dark room. will look cool if i can do it right.

must work today, which is sad. will just take a book as i always do. but i always seem to get stuck with the girl who refuses to work. we have to go at a reasonable speed to keep up, and shes so freaking slow. half of it is she doesnt want to get anything on her hands. which is a bad thing when you work in the dishroom putting dishes on the dishwasher. its just a given that youre going to get crap on your hands. see, the way it works, you usually have 2 people per side, tho 1 can do it. one pulls trays off the carts and takes the cups. the other does the plates and such. i always get the former because im there earlier and get the better job. however, this girl is so slow, i end up doing half of her job. and the two guys on the other side tend to come over and try to take all the cups off of the cart. i dont mind, except when they stand in my way to do so. one of them got a tray corner to his spine for that. on tuesdays i pair up with one of the cafeteria ladies, so we get work done.

at last, rest for the weary
finally, inu gets a break. next week will be nice and easy. no papers, no tests, no chem. that will be so nice.

also finally, inu gets the chance to draw again. i havent been able to so much as sketch this week. for i know, if i start sketching, ill get too into it, and when i look up, ill have lost 3 hrs. and i couldnt afford that this past week. im not entirely sure where this came from, but i just suddenly found myself thinking about a very old OC of mine. old as in, made up when i was like 10. she always seemed awesome in my mind, and now she looks awesome on paper. ill try to describe her: white anthro wolf with black markings, bat wings, and antlers. and a sword. and yes, i did put "she" and "antlers" together. what? female elk grow antlers, so she can too. im going to get so many comments of "wow, hes cool", because she doesnt have a human female figure. i was ten when i created her, i wasnt thinking about that. and non-humans dont have to have that body shape, so ha. her name is erialc (eh-rye-alk) i know its weird, but i was ten and it seemed oh-so clever. as usual, im not going to be able to post this for a long time. but ya, theres inus art update.

the upright citizens brigade was here tonight, so my roommate, her bf and i went to see them. theyre an improv group like second city. i saw them in NYC, but this was even funnier (very college themed, obviously) it was a fun way to spend an hour and a half.

loooooooong day
its still technically thursday here, and its been busy. both labs were busy, was there almost the full time for both.

i have a test in zoo and a paper due for lit tomorrow/today. been working on the paper for a few hours now. minimum of 7 pages, over two books. so 3.5 pages per book. and i can take up good space with a good intro and conclusion. yes, i did start on my 7pg paper the night before its due. i can do that, for i can rattle off an A paper in a few hours. yay actual writing skill. see? inu can write other than fanfics. (tho creative writing is oh-so-much more fun) taking a break now to keep my brain from exploding, then off to study for zoo as late as i can focus. im perfectly capable of staying up all night and longer, but i cant study that long. it doesnt benefit me at all, and lessens the chance that ill learn anything. so ill call it a night at 1 at the latest. likely get up a little early and take my notes to breakfast with me.

on top of all that, im glad its friday. oh man, this is great, i have no chem at all next week until friday *dances happily* theres some chem convention and the entire department (teachers, seniors, everyone) is leaving until thursday. but i have no lab, because the tuesday labs wont be able to meet. so yay! a chem free week! you have no idea how happy this makes me. well, maybe you do from all my complaining about the class.

Two Wolves:

lab day
zoo lab, something about "taking starfish apart" according to dr d. chem lab, more titrations and such. whoo. no severly dangerous acids this week. its a bit unnerving to be using 12M HCL. quick chemistry lesson if you dont know what that means. M means moles, which is the concentration measurement. stomach acid is about .05M (i think) and has a pH (acidity) of about 2.3 (on a scale where 6.5 is mild acid). this stuff is 12M, meaning horribly concentrated, so it basically has a negative pH. meaning, it eats your skin and muscle to nothing if it gets on you. even the fumes are corrosive, as i believe i complained about in a past post.

ok, enough chemistry. lesse...what else...tkd last night was fun. painful, but fun. my roommate and i have been repeatedly proven to be hopelessly incompetant on one thing or another. lara keeps trying to make our form harder than it is, and im horrible at side-kicks. we dont have class next week, which is sad. clearly were going to be on this belt for a good bit longer than the usual 2 months, seeing as that would be next week. not that any of us are ready to test anyway.

iiiiiinteresting
tis almost midnight and my roommate and her bf are trying to kill each other. hes sick, and so shes yelling at him for risking giving it to her. and im just laughing at both of them. theyre such a bizarre couple, i swear. lara keeps trying to hurt him and hurts herself instead. its rather sad, but funny.

we have tkd tonight. lara didnt go last week, as it was spring break and she didnt feel like driving up here (nor did i, but ya) so were wondering what we missed and what were going to be put through this week.

easy day
this is inus easy days. even tho she has to work for 4 hours, she doesnt have class, so that makes it nice. i dont have trumpet this morning since my teacher is out of town, so i get to sleep late *cheers*

started looking at classes for next year, and i have a tentative 7 out of 8. trying to get in an art class for the sake of my sanity. inu wants an easier class to balance out everything else. i think im going to take chinese. its the only language offered that i have any possible interest in.

anyone know why the art gallery links and all that are still gone? im curious and its slightly annoying. and whats the permalink thing? why in the world have a link to a single individual post? isnt that just wasting server space? im just wondering.
