its raining again. and its cold again. the weather here is so odd. 80 and sunny one day, then 40 and sleeting the next. inus ready for summer. cant wait for my 100 degree weather and going to the lake. seems so far away when cramped up inside during a cold, driving rain. inu misses her jetski. liana im sure you agree. well have to spend a lot of time over there this summer. take the houseboat out at night and stargaze for hours again. maybe catch another meteor shower. that was cool.

last day of break. so sad.

drew a pic earlier and shall try to post it later today when i finish it. an amusing suggestion by sage. ill leave it at that for now.

anyone know why the links to art and whatnot are gone? i wouldnt be surprised at all if theyre back by the time some people read this, but theyre not there now and i was curious. the main art and greeting pages are up, but not on our pages. just wondering.

yeah...its 1:30 and i didnt get much sleep last night, so im crashing. ill post that pic later and put up another post when i do.

clearing up
ok, i tend to get a lot of comments on my art that say "good job, but its too small." dont you think that if i could make it bigger i would? why do you think i went to DA? im sick of my stuff being so small here, but im honestly uploading it as large as myo will allow. and it turns out that smaller size. so enough with telling me to make it bigger. i cant. you want the bigger version, go to the DA link i put in my comments.

finally a free day
first things first, i posted a new pic. kindly go see and comment.

finished applying to places, helped my grandma, now i finally get a day to do absolutely nothing. lianas coming over tonight, so sometime im going to go rent movies so well have something to do while its sheeting rain all day and night and weekend.

ok, not much to say today. going to read most of the day. orrowed a book from liana and id like to finish it so i can give it back to her. im sure a lot of you have seen the movie "the princess bride". liana loaned me the book, and her entire family insisted i read it. its pretty much just like the movie, but with little author commentary throughout. its highly entertaining, and id recommend it to anyone interested, whether youve seen the movie or not.

finally
and now i get my break back. finished applying to places yesterday(24 total, itai...) so i et to sleep in. actually, i have to be at my grandmas by 11:30. she has some little chores she wants me to do. im wondering where my cousins are for all this. but ill get to play with her dog. hes a lhasa apso named rowdy, and hes so sweet.

i know i said i would try to have art today, but with one thing and another, i didnt have time. i just finished it, but i really cant scan it this late. so tomorrow for sure. im not too happy with it as it was an experiment in many things.

had tkd last night, went to lianas place again. twas fun. attempted to fix a few things. attempted being the operative word there. spent most of class being mocked by liana and another friend.

mid-week
14 places applied to, 6 more to go. i only have 4 more on my hit list. 5 actually, forgot one. but now im down to the places i just dont want to go to, so i have no more enthusiasm (if i had any to begin with).

tkd again tonight, which is nice. im not sure yet if im going to lianas place again or driving up to mine. i dislike driving at night for a longer distance, and its supposed to be raining. well see how it plays out.

inu finally got around to drawing again. i hope to get that up at some point today. just a sketch as of now, but i shall keep working on that. (speaking of, if you havent looked at/commented on the art i submitted friday, please do so. thanks)

i want my break back
applied to 7 places yesterday. 13 more required. and i only have 10 more places on my hit list. none of the places yesterday were particularly promising. at least none more so than others. im trying to get these done as quickly as i can. the sooner i have 20 applications in, the sooner i get to sleep in again. so much for my week of rest and inactivity.

went to lianas tkd place last night, which was entertaining. tho, e being the genius i am, managed to do side kicks wrong(repeatedly) and pull something. not too sore anymore, but going to hurt when i get up later. happy news, my form is pretty much approved for testing whenever that comes around.

today is my grandmas birthday, so were all going to dinner. at the ungodly hour of 5 in the afternoon. remind me to not eat lunch. but were going to red lobster, which is always good. (dont know if you have one in your area, but its really good seafood as can be guessed by the name)

she lives
inu has been lazy about posting. actually, i wasnt home last night, so i have an excuse.

spent the night at lianas, which is always entertaining. tho she had to work at the high school talent show until 10, so we didnt get to do much after. granted, we were up til 1 anyway. still didnt do too much. yesterday however, was great. some friends of mine/ my family have a couple chesapeake (sp?) bay retreivers, and one had puppies a few weeks ago. so we got to go play with the puppies today. theyre about 6-7 weeks old, and are little roly-poly balls of fluf. they were so cute. liana and i were on the floor playing with them, and each ended up with a sleeping puppy in our lap. i actually had 2 for awhile, but one decided it was too crowded and moved. but oh they were cute. inu and liana were quite content to play with the puppies for hours. our dogs werent happy with us when we got home tho.

today i begin the wonderous crusade that all college students must undertake: i apply for a summer job. parents are demanding im out of the house by 10:30 every morning and go to at least 4 places each day this week. inu has problems with that. 1) out at 10:30 means up at 9:30. that defeats the purpose of spring break, yes? 2) i dont know of 20 freaking places. liana and i have been brainstorming for hours and are still short 3 places. im trying to go to places that its unlikely other college students are going to (petsmart, chainwheel, etc) but still. im avoiding restaurants of any sort like the plague. i refuse to be a waitress or check groceries or flip burgers. more complaints on that as the week progresses.

in happy news, lianas invited me to go to tkd at her place tonight. thats going to be entertaining. have another friend other than liana there, and im fairly certain theyre both going to get a nice laugh at my expense. (both are black belts, im a white belt)
