busy busy...again
noting a pattern of business here? have trumpet lessons at 9, then work from 11-2. then band from 4:40-6. no percussion tonight, so i get a free evening, which is good. this is going to be my hell week. had 2 tests yesterday, then have papers due weds, thurs and fri. oh so much fun. i know where my free time will be spent. luckily, i can write papers in my sleep, courtesy of my AP language class in HS.

to reiterate what i said yesterday (see that post for more detail) if i dont get a significant response of people who want me to keep my art here, im moving to DA permanently. so comment if you wish. im keeping track of how many people care, and if it meets my set number, ill stay.

the pain...
inu had 2 tests this morning. zoology at 9 and chem at 10.i think my brain has ceased to function. you math nerds out there can keep your chem class, i hate it. i dont do math. and im sure there are people here who will be like "chemistry isnt hard, you just dont understand it." no, i dont understand it. thats why its hard. but, im fairly assured i passed both, so all is hopefully well.

im going to continue to say go see my art for a few days, so just deal with it. and, as usual, COMMENT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PEOPLE. i mean really, ill seepics that have been up for less than a day with 30+comments. ive never gotten more than 9 on any single pic. most get 1-3 if any. do you have any idea how frustrating that is? so im not one of the best artists on here, ive been told im damn better than many. im strongly considering abandoning this gallery in favor of the better one at deviantart. theres at least a helpful community there. but thanks to yami ace and liana for regular feedback on each art post. i appreciate you guys. however, since there are only 3 people who seem to care, thats really not enough to keep me here. so, heres my ultimatum. if youre willing to take 10 seconds out of your busy day to leave me a real comment (not "yay good job!" for that tells me nothing) leave a comment on this post. less than 5 comments (from people other than yami ace and liana) and im leaving so far as art is concerned. simple enough yes? 5 people is not many. so if you care, say something.

cursed winter
yes, i know that its not cold here by many standards, but under 20 degrees is plenty cold for me. geez, under 50 is plenty cold for me. we got sleet here last ngiht, and likely more tonight. i have to be back at college by monday morning if possible, so im hoping that i can get back this afternoon. i do not like driving in ice, and im not risking the freeway if its still icy. and yes, arkansas ice is nothing compared to other places, but its bad enough to keep me at home.

go see the art i posted yesterday, theres a freaking lot of it.

another busy day
both labs tomorrow as usual. my thrusdays are frantic. luckily the labs rarely take the full 3 hrs. so i have time in between to take it easy. and get food. yay sundae thursdays! ^^

inu drew yesterday. a random comic about the consequenses of not knowing what to draw. you shall see. its amusing. so now i need one more. and i think i have an idea. well see about that tomorrow evening. nothing major on friday, so i can legitimately draw all night.

and finally, my roommate finished all of those god-forsaken papers. meaning shes not going to be up until 3 am and thus keep me up til 3 am. i get little enough sleep as is, and i appreciate what i do get. college classes tend to produce odd sleep problems. inus awake til the wee hours of the morning then passes out until the alarm goes off. its annoying.

enh
ok, youll read this and go "*gasp* inus one of those people who claims to dislike valentines day so shell seem tough!" no, thats not why i dislike valentines day. then youll say "*gasp* inu doesnt like this day because she doesnt have a boyfriend!" also not true. i dont have a boyfriend because i see no need or point in having a relationship until im out of college and well-established on my own. in general, i dislike the explosions of pink and massive increase in people making out in public. and the sweetness is enough to make your teeth rot. dont get me wrong, i do believe in love and hope to find it someday, but what people my age call "love" is nothing more than lust and need to be identified as being with someone. i want nothing of that until i find actual, true love. aka the guy who can accept me for who i am, doesnt want to change me, and loves me and not my appearance. of course, i cant even try to describe the "perfect guy" like so many try to do. ill know him when i find him. thats my little rant. dont expect me to ever mention love again. it doesnt happen frequently. oh, and since ive explained my reasons for dislike of the holiday and my lack of boyfriend, i want no sympathetic "oh im sure youll find a guy!" i dont want a guy for several more years thank you.

still need 2 more pics. have a vague idea for one, but its not going anywhere. let me know if you have any thoughts on the matter.

again with the day we all hate
and so it begins again. inus tired, because her roommate kept her up late. lara has some problem with finishing papers during the day like normal people. no, lara must do her papers from 1-3 am. i can and do pull all-nighters, and im up til 1 anyway, but 8:30 comes awfully early. i appreciate what little sleep i can get thank you very much. its far more preferable when lara goes to her bf's room and does her homework/sleeps there. (and far better for them to be in his room and not ours)

inu was drawing last night again. odd things come late at night. i randomly decided i wanted a raptor character. so i made one. hes supposed to be a sell-sword. better than an assassin, because his coloring is a bit too noticeable (red and gold) and when i post him i know ill get comments about how the blade he carries is fairly small, but if you had huge claws on your feet would you feel the need for a sword? anyway, coloring him today. this is my 8th pic. need 2 more to break my record ^^
(need ideas for said 2 pics, help me!! as some have seen, i will do requests, characters or creatures or whatever)

and now i am away, back to the shadows from whence i came.

no.....
dont want the weekend to end. blah.

my roommate dyed her hair last night, so we had a couple other people in here to watch and laugh. her hair is now a very fake dark red. it looks alright i suppose. but i wouldnt want to have hair color that obviously came out of a bottle. im satisfied with my coloring, thank you. tho now theres red dye all over the place so it looks like we murdered someone.

did another drawing, at lianas "suggestion". looks cool. a nice night scene with inu and liana, big shiny moon (a must when drawing anything for liana) and a lake. very peaceful scene. now only 3 more to beat my upload record.

weekend at long last
geez, we had snow yesterday, which is bizarre for this part of the world. it didnt really stick, but still. the weather here is so random. warm enough to wear short sleeves one day, snowing the next. i dont get it. but i miss my blazing hot summers. i like it when its over 100 degrees. unless i have to mow the yard. then its just cruel.

yet again my muse has been busy. im just on a kick with drawing anthros now, and am trying to make them better. all hail the anthro artists on DA that i get tips from. ok, i dont actually ask for help, i just study their art to see how they do a certain thing, and the adapt it to my style and try it. so far so good. and this pic was partially to counteract the evil and creepiness of the previous one (see yesterdays post) this one is nice and serene and happy. actually, the character looks rather melancholy. but its still a far cry from the dark evilness of the last pic. and, thanks to liana, i have another drawing idea, which i shall start on when i finish this one. so i know have *counts* 6 pics. and another week until i come home. im trying to beat my uploading record. i put up 9 new ones at once last semester, so im aiming for 10 this time. 4 to go in one week. i can do that. ^^
