oooh boy
going to be a crazy day. first round of labs today, and i have both of them (zoo and chemII). each is 3 hrs, but they rarely use the whole time. were dissecting worms in zoo, and making some simple solution in chem. easy days, basically. and its sundae thursday!! (for those who havent yet figured that out, it means we get ice cream sundaes at lunch on thursdays)

problems with college dorms:

1) idiots down the hall who dont shut up even at and after midnight
2) ants in the showers
3)heaters with only 2 settings (molten and arctic)
4)questionable internet (it dies)

drawing is coming along nicely. putting in lots of effort. planning to come home this weekend, so i shall post it then, whatever state of completion its in.

to whom it may concern
yes, inu has been drawing (whoo!). more specifically, inu has been drawing dante of devil may cry. what fun eh? freaking hard, but so awesome. im almost done with the sketch, and ill be fixing it up and all that tomorrow, hopefully coloring it as well. so yes, ill have that in some form when im next home, which may be this weekend.

had percussion ensemble after wind ensemble this evening. the result of which, i got to dinner 10 minutes before the cafeteria closed. -__-' so yes, that was nice. its going to be like that every tuesday. tho every other time i likely wont get dinner. oh well, thats why we have ramen in our room. but percussion is fun. there are only 6 of us, and all percussionists are crazy, so its all good.

grr....
i have no classes on tuesdays, so i was thinking "yay sleeping in!" but it seems god is laughing at me again. i have trumpet lessons at 9, and work study from 10-2. no rest for the weary, eh? i may ask my trumpet teacher if i can move my lessons to 2 or something. granted, the lack of classes is a nic break. i can take a book and sketchbook to work and thus have some amusement.

i need something to draw. at laians suggestion (again) id like to draw either dante from devil may cry, or vincent or sephiroth from final fantasy. catch is, i dont play either game, which makes this a little tricky. been trying to find a picture i can use for reference, but all the good ones i found were too small to be of much use.

roommate lara went to the store awhile ago and returned with ramen of all sorts, drinks, soup and raviolli(for herself), cheese and pocky. inu had never had pocky before, and is now addicted to it ^^ so now we have our junk food...and cheese. all is well. ^__^

anyone else ever just have these odd urges to draw odd things? i was just sitting here and decided i want to draw something fun with inu and liana. aka them not being evil. (shocking, i know) but we have happy moment in our stories, and inu and liana goof around as much as any other pair of good friends (in our stories and real life) anyone have any thoughts? (ooc thoughts accepted for the moment) of course, there shall be no proceeding in this direction without full approval from liana. but, its 12:15 and shes already gone to bed, so ill have to run this by her later. *shrug* i have no idea, this thought just popped into my head.

the call of ramen
my roommate decided at 11 that she wanted ramen. we ate all of ours, so she decided to go up and down the hall begging for ramen. she did manage to get some, but it wasnt the microwaveable kind. but she really wanted that ramen, so she went all the way downstairs (were on the 3rd floor) to the kitchen and made the ramen. then she came back up here to see if we had any bowls. we dont, so she went back down the hall to find a bowl. im assuming she found one, i havent seen her since. i believe one of us will be going to get more within the next day or so. ramen, caffine, and chocolate. all are required for a college student. all we have left food-wise in here are poptarts and some popcorn. must stock up on unhealthy things...

inu has been drawing again. so far you have 2 fully colored pics to look forward to when im home next. some fun experiments with character design and such. in the other one, i got to play with lighting. it has a stained-glass window in the bg, so i have different colored light there. its kinda cool.

inu has a chem quiz today. enh. inu doesnt like chemistry, but she has to take it. but this quiz shouldnt be too terribly hard. i hope.

and the boredom continues. drew some more today, and still want my scanner back. speaking of art, inus finally freaking sick of all her art coming up so small on here. im sure you are as well. so, to deal with this, inu has gotten herself a deviantart account (finally). theres nothing on it as of yet, because 1) none of my art is saved on this comp and 2) all my art is scanned in a much smaller size to fit the regulations here. so im going to rescan my better stuff when im next home and get it all up on there. all new stuff will still be posted here, but a bigger version will be on deviantart.

and thats all thats new in my world.

not much in the world of inu. have a bit of homework, but not bad.

finished my book today. anyone here read mercedese lackey's "heralds of valdemar" series? if you like fantasy, i very highly recommend it. there are 27 books, including some anthologies. there are also other series, such as the "joust" trilogy, of which i have read 2 of 3 books. in general, i just recommend mercedes lackey. fabulous author, and a large influence on my writing style. i could go on, but ill let you figure it out for yourself.

ah fridays
classes are over for the week, and i get to sleep in. all is well, yes? no plans at all tonight. nothing pressing coming up, and nothing going on on campus to my knowlegde. at least nothing that concerns or interests me. (aka anything involving drinking or smoking anything) wont go near those sort of things. not only for the sake of intelligence, but for the sake of my senses. do you have any idea how horrific it is to be trapped in a small space with many people smoking various things when your sense of smell is unnaturally keen? its not pleasant, i can assure you. same with alcohol, reeks horribly from 20 paces, let alone in my face. so we stay away for various sensible reasons. ok, im done ranting on teenage stupidity.

i really do wish i had a scanner. i want to scan my art. blah. well, whenever i get home next, youll have a lot of art from me. without calculus eating up my life, i have plenty of spare time to draw. yay!

oh and by the way, thanks to those who got me 1892 visits and a 484 ranking. (normally i dont care about these things, but felt i should thank those responsible)

ah the boredom
i wish i had a scanner. ive been drawing, and want to upload it. gr. curse it all.

really didnt do much today. my zoo lab met in the library for a quick run-through of how to use the library database. then i got ice cream (and real food) for lunch. oh inu was happy. ^^ my chem lab doesnt start until next week, so i had all afternoon free. did some homework, read and drew. thats it. fairly boring day, really.
