*cackle*
yeeeees ive finally gone insane. i always knew art would push me over the edge somehow. *ahem* anyway, ive been working on this freaking epic picture for about a month now (off and on), and i finally jut sat down and finished it. why did this drive me crazy, you ask? well, youll see. and now i will share this with you, so you might understand why im twitching.

heh, since thats not anime in any sense of the word, its not on here. too bad, id like to show it off and blow all the little kiddie artists away. anyway! whatcha' think? i think i earned the right to brag for this. *bragbragbrag*
since i know people will ask and wont read the description over on dA, this is an alien. its not an anthro anything. alien. shes an erda, a race that ive explored a bit before. theyre so freaking complicated i dont seem to draw them that much. i came up with (or was accosted by) these guys during spare time at work this summer. the one in this picture is very much average. and those clothes and such are just your typical every-day wear. yeah, you dont want to try to comprehend fancy for them. it makes my head hurt.
now then, the main reason this made my crazy. those are mosaics in the background. painstakingly drawn, one little square at a time. each one took me a full night by itself when i actually worked on it that long. you can see how they got much better as i figured this out. portraying a very different media in something else is most trying.
alright then! im going to go sit in a corner and giggle at nothing now. away!
