home again
happy late 4th for the americans on here. isnt it fun to have a holiday where you celebrate by blowing things up?
yes, inu and liana were at the lake all weekend. twas much fun. we both love the long, lazy weekends we spend over there. there were so many people, as usual, that we didnt get out on the lake that much. the water is too rough and there are more idiots who cant pilot boats than you can imagine. so we stayed in the dok and swam all weekend. we got my dog out on a floatie, and he was most happy. he was out of the water, but with us, so he wasnt afraid or anything.
one of the neighbors has a new kitten, and so of course we had to go see it. its a feral cat that they managed to civilize enough to keep. they named her cuddles of all things. shes a silver tabby, with bright gold eyes. and shes about 10 weeks old, they think. simply put, shes adorable.
we took dorkiness to the next level and watched some old disney movies, just because we can. who doesnt love disney movies? and you catch all the jokes that you didnt get as a little kid. so yes, we watched pocahontas and balto (not disney, but whatever) it was amusing.
i dont have new art for you right now, but i will later today. liana and i have a seceret project in the works which involves a change in design on inu and liana. (tying them down long enough to work the changes out was painful. liana wouldnt give up her coat.) so ill have those new concepts up later, and maybe some creature designs we made as well. whats the project, you ask? its a seeeeeeeeeecret. arent i mean? no, ill reveal it a bit later as were further into it.
