   Ranting Time.

Sooo...

Today we started the standerdized testing. Oh fun fun. *UGH!* They're so annoying. I mean, we need to pass them all next year in order to graduate. AND! They're adding science for our class, so we have to pass those too! Luckily, they're doing the pilot for them, and if we pass this year, we get to skip them next year. Which is good, because who wants all of those tests at once?! XD

We also are working on finals and stuff. Well, for foreign languages. So for the past three-ish weeks or so, we've been writing a paper in French class on a famous person from a French-speaking country. (I did Alizee Jacotey the singer. =P) So right now we're starting to work on our orals. (Our orals on the person we wrote on starts on Monday. So we're practicing our oral material and we're starting to make our visuals, which we have to have with our presentation.) I'm actually feeling pretty confident about my French final. (We also practiced for our reading comprehension test today. I should be able to do that too.)

I'm NOT looking forward to Geography finals. *prepare for rant, skip if you want*
I HATE OUR TEACHER. He's a nice enough guy, but he DOESN'T TEACH US ANYTHING!! I mean, we've learned a little about Africa and a bit about Europe (which is what we're doing now) but we seriously don't really do much in his class. I mean, we went ONE DAY of a five day video conference with Uganda. We went another day too, but only to watch. And then we get back to the classroom and says to us "I'll probably have you guys write an essay on Uganda in your final." It's like.. FOR WHAT?! We didn't STUDY it. We were just talking to the people there. To find out what life is like there. He didn't even tell us what kind of stuff we'd have to look for or study or remember so that we could write an essay. Just.. we'll write an essay on Uganda! Other than that Video Conference we did NOT study the country. I'm really kinda mad at him. And the other day! He was out and we had a sub who told us 'Yeah.. you have a test today." See, he TOLD us he'd give us a test on Europe and we went over some of the stuff, but he never told us it was going to be the NEXT DAY. (well, actually Monday.) God.. we were all tearing. >_< He's so annoying! He barely teaches.

*cough* Rant over. Sorry. ^^"

I'm not horribly worried about chem and English finals, however. I think I'll do okay with a bit of studying over the weekend. Sure, it's unnerving, but I think I can handle it. ^^"

Anyway, enough ranting and enough about school. ^^"

Questions:
1) Have you ever had a teacher who's done similar things? (Given you an unexpected TEST or told you to write an essay on something you haven't learned..etc.)
2) When do you get out of school? (or are you already out?)
3) What do you think of summer? (weather-wise, not the whole school-less-ness. XD)

Oh! And if you haven't voted yet, please do.. I've only got four votes so far and they're all for something different.. ^^" haha.

   If you were a crayon..

Hello everyone..

This is me trying to update more often, like I said I would! ^^ So, let's see..

Yesterday I worked on a bunch of labels. I have a job right now where I basically just have to stamp and label 4,000+ postcards. It's not a bad job at all. And I'm almost done! ^^ I'm really happy because when I get paid, I'll have enough money to pay for Rosetta Stone! (It's a language program. I'm gonna get both set 1 and 2 for Japanese.) I've been saving for a while now and I still need a bit more. So.. as soon as I'm paid, I'll finally have enough. ^_^ Yay!

I've been trying to draw a bit more.. Yesterday I found a graph book in our closet and my dad told me I could take it. I figure it'd be good for learning how to draw realistically. I mean, all I have to do is open a picture in Photoshop and put on grid lines and I'm all set... Grid lines is a technique I've seen a couple of different places for people trying to learn how to draw realism. So I'm giving it a shot. ^^

Responding to yesterday's comments:
Doose-doe: Haha, that's okay. We had to teach Xuai how to play Go Fish because she'd never played before. lol
EmikoMai: Yeah, I know you played basketball with the guys.. I just didn't put it in. XD Haha, sorry Emi.
euses1: I almost considered not going.. but classes would have been really empty and suckish, so... XD And all of the books I mentioned yesterday are mangas.. although I did read a few book books, I decided not to mention them. ^^" haha. I had a really long list..

So, yeah, that's pretty much it.
Oh oh! I put up a poll for my next theme. Please vote ^^

Questions:
1) Have you ever heard of Rosetta Stone?
2) What's your favorite group dance? (Like.. Cha-Cha Slide, Macarena, Cotton-Eyed Joe.. etc.)
3) Did you vote for the next theme? ^^

   Hello Again! ^^

Hello again everybody! ^^

I'm really sorry that I've kinda been on-and-off here.. I really have been inconsistent with posting and I haven't commented on anyone's pages in FOREVER. I'm so sorry. I'll try to get back into the swing of things. I'm gonna post more often and I'll try to comment more, too. ^^" Ack, I feel really bad that I haven't lately.

Yesterday we had a class trip to a recreation center in the area. We were there for like.. 3 and half hours. And it's only probably 10 minutes away (or less) by foot. So our class walked down and hung out there. We had things like basketball, capture the flag, soccer, volleyball.. that kinda stuff. The town closed the pool there, though, and the teachers wouldn't let us go swimming in the river nearby. Which made some people kinda mad, but.. I didn't really care. It was pretty hot and humid, but we had fun. Wolfy, Emiko, Xuai and I basically just hung out most of the afternoon. Just kinda sittin in the shade and playing card games and stuff. It wasn't horrible. ^^" lol

I've been reading like CRAZY lately. Let's see.. Happy Hustle High 1-4, Azumanga Daioh 1-4, Fullmetal Alchemist 9, and Immortal Rain 3 to name a few. XD haha. I gotta say, Happy Hustle High isn't /that/ bad. Although they do kinda overdo some things. ^^" Azumanga Daioh is hilarious though. XD My boyfriend was the one who introduced that to me. Ohmygod.. I love it. Immortal Rain 3 was really sad.. So was FMA 9.. and Tears of a Distant Star is really sad too.. I almost cried..

Haha, I'm rambling again aren't I? Sorry..

Oh, for anyone who's interested, I put up some new stuff on my deviantART page.. some photos and some writing pieces.. ^^" haha.

Questions! (Yes, I'm actually doing some this time! ^^)

1) Have you ever read Azumanga Daioh?
2) Have you ever cried while reading a manga?
3) Have you ever laughed out loud while reading a manga?
4) Library or Bookstore?
5) Are you going to see/Have you seen Pirates 3?

Well, that's pretty much it. I hope everyone has a good day! ^^

   SHOES!

So, not much to talk about still. God, I'm so boring. XDD Haha.

Oh oh! My shoe story of the day. Ok, so today I wore flip-flops to school, thinking that it'd be nice to kick them off if we got to go outside for writing today. I get on the bus and realize- Oh Crap, we have a lab today in Chem. On Acids and Bases. (We're not allowed to do labs with flip-flops.) I tell myself it's okay, going outside for writing later will make up for it. When it starts to rain. x_x Of course. So then I go on worrying about my shoe issue. In second block (one block left 'till chem!) one of my friends says we can trade shoes because we're the same size. So I wore her shoes the rest of the day and she wore my flip-flops. And guess what? We didn't do the lab in chem. XD And what's better? It cleared up so we got to go out for creative writing. Oh yeah. XD lol

Yeah, that's my excitingness for today. ^^" haha I dunno what else to say, so I'll leave it at that...

Have a good day! ^^

   And so..

So, that Shakespeare reciting thing went okay. I think my teacher said I got a.. 94? Yeah, I think that was it...

I've been working a bit to earn some more money for my trip next month.. Yay. Well, both jobs I have earn about the same per hour, so it works out.

I've also been drawing and writing a bit recently. I have a character that sorta ran into my head and jumped around yelling "put me down on paper!".. so that's what I'm doing. ^^ Her name is Miranda. And she's kinda insane. XD lol ^^" haha

Anyway, that's uh.. pretty much it. ^^" I feel really bad. I don't come on as much as I used to and, when I do come on, I babble about stupid stuff.. ^^" I'm sorry....

BUT! I am planning on coming back again soon. I'm also gonna put up a poll for what my next theme should be.. (I have a few in mind). So keep your eyes peeled for that. (I've always wondered.. what kind of a saying is "keep your eyes peeled"? What does that even mean?! x_o) XD

Haha, hope you're all having a good day! ^^

   Quick Post

I dunno what to type, so.. just updating to say I probably won't be updating much. ^^" haha
I'm sorry...

Well, school's almost over. How weird is that?
In English, we have to recite a 15-line.. thing from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliette, from memory. I decided to do:
"Holy Saint Francis! What a change is here
Is Rosaline that thou didst love so dear
So soon forsaken? Young men's love then lies
Not truly in their hearts, but in their eyes
Jesu Maria! What a deal of brine
Hath washed thy sallow cheeks for Rosaline?
How much salt water thrown away in waste
To season love, that of it doth not taste
The sun not yet thy signs from heaven clears
Thy old groans ring yet in mine ancient ears
Lo, here upon thy cheek the stain doth sit
Of an old tear that is not washed off yet
If e'er thou wast thyself, and these woes thine
Thou and these woes were all for Rosaline
And art thou changed? Pronounce this sentence then:
Women may fall when there's no strength in men"

*phew* ^^" Sorry, I had to type it. I know most of it. Up to If e're thou...blahbity blah blah
I must seem insane to people who don't know me. (and maybe to those who do, too. XD) I keep whispering my lines under my breath. It's funny. ^^"

Other than that, not much to say. I've been coloring like crazy. And writing a lot too. It's kinda strange. But hey, who's complaining.

I'll try to get back when I can. Sorry if I'm not on a lot. Talk to y'all later! ^^

   Titleless Again

Not doing too bad today. Kinda bored right now. But.. It's Mother's Day.. *thumbs up* ^^"

I'm sick of homework at this point. XD We had this bogus homework sheet from our chemistry teacher. It was all about using the periodic table to use element symbols and atomic numbers to make words and do stupid math equations. And no, there was no real purpose to it. XD I still have to write my rough draft of three issues in Africa too.. *hisses* I hate writing "essays that aren't essays". *cough* anyway, yeah..

And there's only TWO MORE DAYS until Minutes to Midnight. That's exciting. =D w00t! My mum said she'd pick it up for me when she's on her way over to pick me up at the bus stop on Tuesday. I'm happy. ^^

Recently I've been addicted to the music of a French Singer by the name of Alizee. And I find it pretty funny that I'm actually able to pick out words and a few phrases from her songs. XD w00t! Anyway, yeah. I'm babbling again. ^^" haha sorry..

Questions:
1) How're you today? ^^
2) Have you heard of Alizee?
3) Uh.. Your thoughts on Myspace?

(*shakes head* I don't know.. *laughs* I'm running out of question ideas again.. XD)

   ...no title today ^^"

So, today's filled with chores and homework and such. And tomorrow is Mother's Day, so we'll be out visiting my grandmothers most likely. Nyar. I wish it could just be a quiet weekend.. oh well, next weekend probably will be. ^^

This Wednesday I have the ever-fun doctor's appointment. I get go get shots!! *cheesy smile and thumbs up*... *wilts* Yeah, I have to get some shots before my trip out of the country next month! o_o (*just suddenly realized how close it is*) Luckily, I'm okay with shots. And needles in general. (It would suck if I wasn't.. ^^")

And I'm workin on a story in creative writing about the family of friends. lol It's so much fun. *feels like she's being really random* Ok, I should probably go back to working. ^^" I need to make a card for Mother's Day tomorrow!! o_o

And because no one commented yesterday, same questions... ^^"

Questions:
1) Are you gonna get the new Linkin Park CD?
2) Read any good manga/books lately?
3) Have you read Deathnote? (I've only read one and two)

Oh, and I'm SO SORRY that I haven't been onto anyone's sites lately.. Forgive meh? ^^" I'm trying to get to them this weekend, promise!

   Geez..

*le sigh*

Today was.. interesting. I woke up and found out my dad was sick/in pain. It was pretty bad.. He almost considered calling 911 earlier this morning.. o_o It was scary.
And to add to that, I was also pretty bad today. Not physically. I had 'waves' of dizziness. It wasn't fun. But I could handle it. ^^"

So. It's wicked exciting. XUAI AND I ARE GOING TO LINKIN PARK'S PROJEKT REVOLUTION. I know I mentioned it yesterday, but I feel a need to mention it again. XD And I'm really excited because I'll be getting their new CD the day it comes out. ^_^

Oh, so we've been working on our final paper in French class. (All in French about a famous person from a French speaking country. About three pages, single spaced -normally our papers are double spaced, so..-) I'm so excited. I actually think I'm getting this language down. I'm getting really good at writing it. It's mostly just speaking I need to work on. (Isn't that the biggest thing? ^^") Like, I can form the words, but I feel like I stumble and second guess mehself. ^^" Ah well. I'm getting there, right?

Well, nothing else to report on. Geez, I'm boring.

Questions:
1) Are you gonna get the new Linkin Park CD?
2) Read any good manga/books lately?
3) Have you read Deathnote? (I've only read one and two)

Oh, and I'm SO SORRY that I haven't been onto anyone's sites lately.. Forgive meh? ^^" I'll try to get to them this weekend, promise!

   Aaah....

I deserve to be... shmacked or something. ^^" I am like.. never on any more am I? *hangs head in shame* Sorry.. I haven't really had the chance. Or anything interesting to write about. ^^"

Well, today I got back an English test which I somehow totally aced. (98 w00t ^_^). And we're reading Montana 1948 which is a much better book than everyone gives credit. I mean, nearly everyone I talk to is like "How can you read that book?!" God. I'm like.. opposite almost everyone in my class here. Gosh.

And we had a chem test. I wouldn't be surprised if I killed it. XD It was pretty weird. I dunno. And we also had creative writing today. And a THUNDERSTORM!! Not that that's really school related, but I feel like I have to put it in. Downpour and thunder. It was awesome. I lurve thunderstorms. ^-^

AND HOMG!!!!!!!!!!!
Xuai and I are gonna go to Projekt Revolution!! (It's a Linkin Park concert that's happening the end of this summer for those who don't know) Her parent's said they'd take us and my parent's said I could go! Holy Crap I'm excited.
More on that later.

No time for song or questions, sorry.. Hope y'all have a good day. (sorry, needed to put the y'all there. It's just too cool. =D)
