   I am gone....
Today I will start my journey home to Jersey... I am on my R+R leave from Iraq finally! I cannot wait to go home and have some beers.. I will have a case for my company... I probably won't update this site or cultureshockpress.com for a while so peace out!

   Another lovely day
Well I go home in one week to NJ to see my family and friends. Things are going good in Iraq I guess. I saw a site in the dining hall that brought me to tears five days ago. I saw officers wearing the rainbow patch of the 42nd Infantry Division... it was beautiful. You see, the 42nd ID is the unit replacing my unit. Just a couple of months to go... the end is near, yes the end is near! Update on my site I am still updating it, should be up and fully functional by year end. Take care and I will have a cold beer for all of you!

   Website being launched soon
I am working on my new website! It is http://www.cultureshockpress.com it is a work in progress but feel free to see what I am doing. I am doing this because i need a hobby. The website will feature anime news, links, and my personal stuff too. I am linking my myotaku site to it along with some other surprises. The official launch date will be determained and it'll be "meeting or exceeding all standards"!

   And this one time in Iraq...
Well another fun filled boring day in vacation land peeps. I tell you, this place got to be the worse place on earth. I am waiting for my leave from this place which will be about two weeks from now. I went to the massage place here and OMG I recommemnd it to everyone and anybody that wants or needs one. Had a sexy phillopino girl named "Nemo" I tell you what!!! HOTTIE!!! Anyway folks, a special shout out to Mr Jarad Roche... I love you man... but you dare not touch my Bud Light!

   And this one time in Iraq...
Hey peoples. Sorry for not posting but it just has been boring. Same old life at the warehouse and same old life in Iraq. One GREAT thing happened today though. There was a scavanger hunt at the MWR site for the last nine days, and I found the prize! I recieved some cool t-shirts and some snacks and other goodies as well! Thanks guys! I was probably the favorite to win since I was the closest! As for iraq we had an attack last night at the front gate. Explosions everywhere... Went on a convoy yesterday morning... damn that was fun! Me 3 - Iraq 0... well peeps take care and have some fun for me. Mikey, crack open a cold one for me, cuz!

   No Posts in a couple of days???
I have been working hard at the warehouse lately and it has been hell. But I do get a break in about three weeks and go back to Jersey! I cannot wait! I am trying to figure last minute plans. I am definately going to visit the Boy Scout Troop where I made my Eagle at. Visit some sites... DRINK!!! HAHA...can't get to bombed like I did in Germany. Damn, I miss Germany, living there! Anyway peeps, not much to say, unless you wanna here about my boring work life. Take care!

   ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK
We had a mortar go off about 1.5 km away from me hit the field that serves as a border between the base and Tikrit, and then had some idiot decide to shoot at the front gate. We had to get on all our gear and stuff, but by the time we got our gear from our rooms, the all clear sounded. If an enemy can shoot my forklift at the warehouse from his point 300 meters or more from the gate, he deserves a cookie. But non-the-less no injuries and no serious damge just a big hole in the ground. Take care peeps!

I got a new DVD set in the mail yesterday! It is not anime but it is by far the greatest DVD set I own... I recieved from Amazon.com The Signature Collection of Mr Alfred Hitchcock... the man is a genius!!! Nine of his masterpieces, I highly recommend anyone to get this!
